Zhou Pingjian the Chinese Ambassador to Nigeria say people should stop Panicking and stigmatizing the Chinese citizens, instead they should show solidarity.
Zhou during an address in Abuja Thursday on the health emergency caused by the outbreak of Corona virus now referred to as COVID-19 and the need for a joint effort to contain the disease ,the envoy noted that the disease has been on adecline in the past Nine days.
He said since the first of February ,the number of cured cases has outnumbered the deaths..
According to the Chinese Emvoy, a total of five thousand nine hundred and ninty eight people have been discharged after recovery from the disease since February 12th.
The Ambassador told news men that over thirty two thousand Doctors have been engaged to ensure that the virus is contained.He advised Nigerians in China and at home to stay calm and that it was better also for Nigerians in China to stay back and not spread the Virus.
