VIETNAM AUTHORITIES REFUSE CRUISE SHIP ENTRY OVER FEARS OF CORONA VIRUS

A GERMAN OWNED CRUISE SHIP HAS BEEN REFUSED ENTRY INTO VIETNAM.

ACCORDING TO REPORT BY THE NEWS AGENCY OF NIGERIA (NAN) THE CRUISE SHIP WITH OVER ONE THOUSAND PASSENGERS ON BOARD WAS REFUSED ENTRY INTO VIETNAM CITY DUE TO FEARS OF CORONA VIRUS SPREAD.

THE VESSEL IS SAID TO HAVE DOCKED IN THE PHILIPINES,MALAYSIA AND SINGAPORE WHERE CASES OF CORONA VIRUS HAVE BEEN REPORTED.

THE CRUISE LINER WHICH LEFT THE PHILIPPINES PORT OF CORON ON THE 10TH OF FEBRUARY BOUND FOR VIETNAM VIA THE SOUTH CHINA SEA ACCORDING TO DATE MADE AVAILABLE BY THE MARINE TRAFFIC SHIP TRACKING WEBSITE, HAD BEEN SCHEDULED TO VISIT HA LONG BAY IN NORTHERN VIETNAM ON SATURDAY BEFORE PROCEEDING TO THE VIETNAMESE PORTS OF DA NANG,NHA TRANG AND HO CHI CITY.

SINCE THE CORONA VIRUS NOW REFERRED TO AS COVID19 WAS REPORTED IN WUHAN CHINA, MORE THAN ONE THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED PEOPLE HAVE DIED OF THE VIRUS.

IT HAS ALSO SPREAD TO ABOUT TWENTY FOUR COUNTRIES ACROSS THE WORLD.
