The Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has announced that the state will be opening three new multiple bed isolation facilities for COVID-19 patients in the state.

Governor Sanwo-Olu who made the announcement a public address on Monday 19th April also announced that the state may have to make the use of face masks mandatory in public places for all resident by next week.

This is following the declaration by the world Health Organization (W.H.O) that the the Corona Virus is airborne.

With thebonset of The Ramada Season, Governor Sanwo-Olu also called on Muslim faithful to maintain the social distancing and not more than 20 persons per gathering policies of the government .
