GOVT SHOULD HANDLE MEDICAL CARE OF INJURED END SARS PROTESTERS AT LEKKI TOLL GATE LAGOS…CMA

The Commonwealth Medical Association (CMA) has urged the Nigerian govt to take up the medical care of injured victims, guarantee unfettered access to physicians and healthcare workers by the protesters who suffered fatal injuries at the Lekki Toll plaza assault.

President CMA,Osahon Enabulele says the Association views as most unfortunate and unacceptable,the prevention of ambulance services and medical care for the injured victims.

While appreciating all physicians and healthcare workers who have so far offered to provide medical care to the injured victims, the CMA urges the leadership of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) to sustain her leadership roles in ensuring full medical and pyschological rehabilitation of the injured.

The body joined others in asking that all the culprits be brought to quick justice, through transparent investigation and prosecution.

CMA is a medical Association of countries within the Commonwealth nations.
