*SOLUDO WILL BE THE CHIEF MARKETING OFFICER FOR MADE IN ANAMBRA GOODS AND SERVICES AS GOVERNOR*
A warehouse full of unsold goods is the managing director’s and marketing manager’s nightmare. Those of us who read O’Level Lawal in secondary school will recall that the popular economics author posited that production is not complete until the product gets to the final consumer. Marketing, the profession which enables us to be ahead of competitors at all times, is the department in organisations charged with the responsibility of ensuring that goods and services get to the final consumers. The health of any company depends on its ability to produce and ensure that consumers buy its products over and over again. The challenge as always, is entering new markets or expanding market share within an industry or category.
Now, Soludo is telling Ndi Anambra in the real sector that as Governor, he will lead in ensuring that all products made in Anambra find markets not just in Anambra but across the globe. But there is a caveat. The products or services should meet The Made In Anambra for the World criteria
Cognisant of the stark reality that the world has become a global village and that consumer tastes and preferences are converging, Soludo will put in place, measures to ensure that Anambra quality standards meet and exceed the international ISO quality standards. The goal is that through economic diplomacy, Anambra State will seek to create global brands that will partake in the lucrative global market.
In furtherance, he plans to work with the real sector and standards bureaus in Nigeria and beyond to evolve the state’s quality policy and a robust quality infrastructure comprising metrology, testing laboratories, standardisation, certification and technical regulations. In addition, Anambra State will deepen its collaboration with relevant regulatory agencies in the drive to enthrone a quality culture in every sector.
Yes, it should be taken as given, that Soludo will lead by example through using products made in Anambra as he is already doing, and is poised to do more. He will take products made in Anambra to the world and in the process, create more wealth and employment.
The foregoing therefore, is a concrete way of giving practice expression to his vision of a livable, secure, prosperous and happy homeland.
Get your PVC and use its power to support his grand vision.
Be of good cheer!!
