The Actors Guild of Nigeria AGN has expressed gratitude to security operatives and members of the public who ensured the safe release of two of its members abducted Wednesday July 27, 2022 in Ozalla Town in Nkanu West Local Government area of Enugu State while returning from a movie shoot.
The guild on its official Instagram page Wednesday, August 3, 2022, said the actors Cynthia Okereke and Clemson Cornel Agbogidi were set free by their abductors unhurt.
The National President AGN Emeka Rollas who announced the freedom of the actors noted that those who kidnapped Okereke and Clemson were touched by the spirit of God to set them free unharmed.
Rollas explained that the AGN has arranged for medical checks and psychological support for the actors advising its members to be security conscious and avoid going to the outskirts of cities to film except full security cover is provided.
