American singer songwriter Taylor Swift has picked up the award for the Artiste Of The Year, Favourite Music Video Of The Year, Favourite Female Pop Artiste, Favourite Pop Album, Favourite Female Artiste and the Favourite County Album of the Year award at the 2022 American Music Awards(AMA).
The fiftieth A.M.A held Sunday November 20th at the Microsoft Theatre Los Angeles California United States had Kenderick Lamar pick up the award for the Favourite Male Hip Hop Artiste and the Favourite Hip Hop Album.
The Favourite R and B Album and the Favourite Female R and B Artiste award went to U.S singer Beyonce.
Nigeria’s multi award winning star Ayodeji Balogun Wizkid won the Favourite Afrobeats Artiste award; while the Favourite Hip Hop Song went to Future for the song Wait For You featuring Drake and Nigeria’s Tems.
The New Artiste of the year award went to Dave Cameron while the Favourite Touring Artiste award went to Cold Play.
The Best Collaboration award went to Elton John and Dua Lipa for the song Cold Heart PNAU remix.
In the Favourite Male Pop Artiste and Pop Song categories British singer songwriter Harry Styles won.
Morgan Wallen picked up the Favourite Male Country Artiste and the Favourite Country Song awards.
In the Favourite Pop Duo/Group category BTS won while American singer songwriter Chris Brown picked up the Favourite Male R and B Artiste award.
U. S Rapper Nicki Minaj won in the Favourite Female Hip Hop Artiste category as the Favourite Gospel Artiste award went to Tamela Mann.
In the Favourite Soundtrack category Elvis won while the Favourite Rock Artiste went to Machine Gun.
