The Labour Party Governorship Candidate under Attack by Suspected Gun men at Epe
Gun men suspected to be political thugs attacked the convoy of the Labour Party Governorship candidate Gbadebo Rhodes- Vivour during his campaign at Epe, Lagos state
A former commissioner under governor Akinwunmi Ambode ‘s administration, Olawale Olowu was said to have narrowly escaped unhurt when the suspected thugs reportedly shot at his convoy during the campaign walk of the Labour party over the weekend
Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour in his verified Twitter handle Sunday says there has been lots of threats and assassination attempts on his life In recent times.
He confirmed that the shooting incident took place at Ita Opo area of Epe town while on a campaign rally in company of Wale Olowu, the Boot party governorship candidate who collapsed his structure for the Labour party governorship candidate.
The suspected political thugs according to Gbasebo shot sporadically missing their targets by the whiskers as they tried to block the road preventing the convoy from entering into their arena .
Gbasebo explained that despite the attack, the procession was successful as the security details attached to his campaign team repelled the hoodlums..
