Former Nigeria’s president Goodluck Jonathan says those who are ambitious for power should go and do business, stressing that only those who are humble and willing to serve the people should be allowed into leadership positions.
The former President gave the advice when he visited Governor Douye Diri of Bayelsa state at Sampou community to empathize with the governor and his family over the death of his father, late Pa Abraham Diri.
Ahead of this Saturday’s governorship and state assembly elections across the country, Jonathon called on the candidates and their supporters to conduct themselves peacefully.
He commended the Governor, Douye Diri for maintaining peace and stability in the state, noting that governing of the state was quite demanding given the peculiar terrain.
