A section of the popular multi billion naira Balogun market has been engulfed by fire as emergency responders are currently battling to prevent the raging fire from spreading any further
The fire at the five storey building located at 32 Balogun is said to have started at the topmost floor where firefighters from the Lagos state and federal fire service including officials from the Lagos state emergency management agency ( LASEMA) are on ground.Though as of the time of filing this report, the casualty figure is yet to be ascertained from the officials.
