A Max Air flight from Yola enroute Abuja crash landed on Sunday afternoon have suffering a bursted Tire on the Nnamdi Azikiwe runway

The Management of max air has also confirmed the incident and the temporal shutting down of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport runway following the incident.

Max air’s General manager for operations, Shehu Wada who gave the confirmation said The Temporal shut down is to enable the engineers to fix the bursted Tyre and the runway to make way will for other incoming aircraft to have a smooth landing.

Wada explained that the plane took off from Yola Airport at 1:30pm on Sunday to abuja when the tyre got bursted but not into flame after landing on Airport tarmac.

According to a trending news online posted by one of the air passengers on his social media handle, Mike Ogirima a former NMA President shows where the airport officials including the fire fighters were on ground to tackle any situation while passengers are panicking in the aircraft as the pilot assured them of safety.

Over One Hundred Passengers were said to be on board, and disembarked from the aircraft successfully with no one injured.

The Aerodrome Rescue and fire fighting services at the airport were swiftly mobilise to put off the fire
