COMMUNITY CRISIS BREWING IN IMOKE TOWN,IBEJU LEKKI

The deposed Baale of lmoke land in ibeju lekki Area of Lagos Chief Saheed Omotayo Adeboye,has called on the state Government Babajide Sanwo-Olu to Intervene in the brewing crisis in it’s Community before it gets out of hand

Speaking With Journalists at a briefing On the 16th of May 2023, the paramount ruler of ibeji lekki kingdom in Lagos state south west Nigeria, HRM. Oba Rasaq Waliu Olasunkanmi the Onibeju of ibeju lekki land said the intervention of the State Government has become necessary in order to restore peace & tranquility rocking the community in his domain, imoke town in ibeju lekki local government area of Lagos State.

The Onibeju of ibeju lekki kingdom, Oba Rasaq Waliu Olasunkanmi had installed a baale for several years in imoke town & recently another Baale in Araromi town in ibeju lekki who was also installed by the Onibeju of ibeju lekki kingdom and recently upgraded to a king in November 2022 by the Lagos state government ,went ahead to impose another Baale in imoke town .

Residents of the Community especially Children are apprehensive as the incident has been impacting negatively on their normal activities
