Speaking from this background Some Development Partners are calling on Nigerians to see kidney donation as a life saving measure that should be done willingly to restore hope to people who are dying.
The partners gave the advice during the inaugural living donor day celebration in abuja for individuals who have embarked on the selfless act.
They believe that the low level of awareness on the subject will improve just as a member-elect, miriam onouoha, promised to push for the living donors protection bill.
With nigeria among the countries where organ harvesting poses a Challenge,many are hoping that with the right environment, more Nigerians will easily donate kidney to reduce the number of deaths from kidney related diseases.
