President, Muhammadu Buhari, has approved the appointment of Mrs Oluwatoyin Sakirat Madein, as the substantive Accountant-Genetal of the
Federation.
A statement by the office of the head of Federal civil service, Folasade Yemi-Esan on Friday May 19, 2023, Says the appointment follows the successful conduct of a selection process to fill the
existing vacancy.
The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation adds that the
appointment is with effect from Thursday, May 18, 2023.
Yemi-Esan further states that the new appointee is to resume immediately.
It will be recalled that the accountant General of the Federation, Ahmed Idris is undergoing investigation of 109 billion naira fraud.
