The police in the Swedish Capital Stockholm have arrested a man who burnt a copy of the Koran on Wednesday.
The man has been taken into custody and will be charged with intent to cause disaffection towards a minority group, even as there are calls for him to be charged for hate.
The man said to be of Iraqi descent had obtained the nod of a court to express his “freedom of speech” and then carried out the act
Expressing it’s displeasure, Morocco has recalled its Ambassador to Sweden over the incident and the European country’s Ambassador in Rabat has been summoned by the Moroccan Foreign ministry.
