A senior Female Medical Doctor, was recently kidnapped in Calabar Cross River State and she is yet to be released from the Den of the Kidnappers.

Reacting to the development,Speaker of the Cross River State House of Assembly, Elvert Ayambem says Security Operatives should fish out the kidnapped Female Medical Doctor as the state with few Medical Doctors cannot afford to loose any.
The speaker was speaking against the background of the Monday protest by the Nigerian Medical Association NMA in Calabar over the kidnapping of one of its members.
He assured the NMA that the kidnapped member will be release to them alive to enable her continue her work for the people of Cross River State and Nigerians.
On his part, the Chairman of NMA in Cross River State, Felix Archibong,said the state Government should take immediate action to free its member from the kidnappers,to avoid the new Government’s name being dragged into the public space.
