FROM NIGERIA TO THE WORLD: DR ENABULE COMPLETES ONE YEAR TENURE AS WMA PRESIDENT

President Of the world medical association (WMA) Osahon Enabule has stressed the need for global health security through building of more resilient health systems and Work force to address current and future challenges in the Sector.

Speaking at the scientific session of the 74th general assembly of the world medical association in Kigali, Enabule noted that global health security has become necessary following re-emerging infectious Diseases,the health impact of climate change and rising trend of anti microbial resistance.

Disturbed by the estimation of the world health organization ( WHO) that by 2030 the world will bee in need of about ten million more health care workers with more of the deficits on low and middle income countries ,He called on Political Leaders and Governments across the world to move beyond mere non- binding Political declarations to real commitments through visible and practical actions.

Enabule However Commended the effort at developing a post Covid -19 pandemic treaty and recent declaration on pandemic prevention, preparedness and response.
