President Of African Development Bank Dr Adeshina Akinwunmi has Emerged as the Winner of The Awolowo Prize for Leadership 2023 Edition
This was disclosed to news Men On Thursday at a briefing by the Former Secretary General Of Commonwealth Ambassador Emeka Anyaokun.
Anyaokun Called On Nigerians And Leaders to emulate the attributes of Dr Adeshina and late Chief Obafemi Awolowo for a better Nigeria
Established in 2011, The Obafemi Awolowo Prize For Leadership is an initiative of the Obafemi Awolowo Foundation to reward and Celebrate Leadership and good Governance.
After a rigorous screening,Dr Adeshina Akinwunmi emerged as the Winner of the 2023 edition for his examplary Conduct as minister of Agriculture during President Jonathan’s Administration and Now as the President of Africa Development Bank.
For Nigeria to achieve it’s dream of greatness as envisioned by the late sage, Anyaokun And Elder States Man Ayo Adebanjo told Nigerians to vote for Persons that will represent their interest and not Politicians who will continue with Business As Usual.
Chief Obafemi Awolowo was one of Nigeria’s foremost leaders ,A Pan-African Nationalist of global repute and first Premier of Nigeria’s western region whose leadership was acknowledged as People centred, Visionary and underlined by Personal Discipline.
