U.S President Joe Biden says he is seeking re-election to ensure America’s democracy and freedom is preserved.

Biden During a speech in Pennsylvania on the eve of the third anniversary of the Capitol Riots, said his Predecessor, Donald Trump, whom he identified by name, must not be allowed to get back into the White House.

The American President said, those he called right-wing troublemakers responsible for the attack of Congress, are a danger to the Country’s democratic values.

With the Primaries yet to commence, Donald Trump remains the Frontrunner in the Republican party whom the President will likely face in November’s election, even as he has several legal challenges confronting him contend with,the latest of which are verdicts by the top Courts in Colorado and Maine barring him from the ballot in those states for the 2024 election.

The 81- year old Biden is seeking to extend his record as the American oldest President, as he was 78 when he took office in January of 2021.
