Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde has implored citizens to remain calm and be rest assured that Their interests are Being looked after. In a Press Release issued and signed by the Commissioner for Information and orientation, Dotun Oyelade, the Press statement stated that the state Government has taken over and in the full control of the unfortunate occurrence that happened in Ibadan in order to mitigate the incident.
The statement also disclosed that all Security service cheifs including para Military Chiefs and fire operatives have Been deployed by the Governor to address the spillover from the Explosion.
There are various interpretations of the incident which is yet to be confirm yet.
