EXJET AIRCRAFT WITH OVER 50 PASSENGERS ON BOARD SKIDS OFF RUNWAY AT LAGOS AIRPORT

An aircraft belonging to Xejet in the early hours of Saturday skidded off the Runway at the Murtala Muhammad Airport lagos.

The aircraft with about 52-3 Passengers which was reported to be coming from Abuja upon landing at the lagos airport veered into the grass area .

The Passengers were successfully disembarked from the aircraft with the Assistance of fire and rescue teams.

Meanwhile the National Safety Investigation Bureau NSIB says it has commenced Investigation into the incident following report to the Bureau on the incident.

Due to the incident the Domestic Runway of the murtala Muhammad Airport lagos has been closed to traffic
