Nigeria’s legendary musician onyeka onwenu has Passed On at 72 Years
The news of the death of the legendary singer songwriter Journalist,Human right Activist and social crusader Onyeka Onwenu Occurred On Monday
She was said to have slumped after performing at a Birthday ceremony on Monday July 30th 2024 before she was taken to the hospital where she eventually died on Monday night.
Until her death, Onwenu often called “Elegant Stallion” by her colleagues was a member of the Musical Copyright Society of Nigeria (MCSN).
A native of Arondizuogu in Ideato North Local Government Area of Imo State Onyeka Onwenu released her first Album titled Endless Life in 1981.
She has to her credit songs such as One Love, Alleluya, Iyogogo, Bia Nulu, You and I, Ekwe, Dancing In The Sun among other evergreen works.
