Get Mark and bring him with you, because he is helpful to me in my ministry.
2 Timothy 4:11, NIV

Restoring Relationships
In Acts 13, during the apostle Paul’s first missionary journey with Barnabas, a young assistant named Mark “deserted” them and returned to Jerusalem. God had given Mark something sacred to do, but he let it slip away. He lost his opportunity, soured his relationship with Paul, and damaged Paul’s relationship with Barnabas. I imagine that he lived with regrets over how he’d messed up and felt trapped in shame and defeat, thinking it was over. But God never writes you off. Later, He gave Barnabas another chance for his relationship with Paul to flourish, another chance to accomplish the dream, another chance to answer the call on his life.

You may have mishandled some things, missed opportunities, had relationships soured, mismanaged the favor on your life, but God is waiting to give you another chance. Quit living guilty, thinking that you’ve blown it too many times. Nothing you’ve done has stopped your purpose. In His great mercy, God is calling you today. If you start believing again, He’s going to restore what you messed up.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that no matter what challenges I face, You have the final word over all things, including broken relationships. Thank You that You are working behind the scenes and bringing restoration to what I thought was dead. I believe that You are bringing new chances. In Jesus’ Name, Amen

SECTION TWO

You can choose life today. How? By realizing that life and death are in the power of your tongue.

So you can walk and reign in life every day: Instead of complaining about your symptoms, simply thank God for His gift of righteousness and declare your righteousness in Christ.

Say this prayer with me:

Jesus, thank You for not just loving me and removing my sins, but for also giving me Your everlasting righteousness. You ARE my righteousness—today, tomorrow, and forevermore. And because I am righteous, I will REIGN IN LIFE through You. I will reign over sin and sickness, and live a life that glorifies You!

When you find yourself wavering in faith, judge Him faithful and be at rest. He cannot fail you and will do as His Word has promised

Today’s Word
Today’s Scripture
Seeing her lips moving but hearing no sound, he thought she had been drinking. “Must you come here drunk?” he demanded. “Throw away your wine!” “Oh no, sir!” she replied. “I haven’t been drinking wine or anything stronger. But I am very discouraged, and I was pouring out my heart to the LORD.”
1 Samuel 1:13–15, NLT

When the Real Victory Happens
In 1 Samuel 1, Hannah was so deep in anguish and praying so passionately for a baby that Eli the priest thought she was drunk and accused her of it. This was a defining moment for Hannah who was barren. We focus on her great victory when she later gives birth to Samuel, but the real victory took place when she didn’t let Eli’s initial rebuke keep her from stepping up. Had she not refused the negative words, she would have never received her Samuel. Before you give birth to your promise, before you reach a new level, there will be an Eli who discourages you. Someone will tell you, “You can’t get well. You can’t start your business. You’ll never break that addiction. You’ll never meet the right person.” Your real victory is when you refuse the doubt, refuse what the naysayers are telling you. You have to win the battle in your mind before you give birth to your promise. Too many people get talked out of ever seeing the fulfillment because they receive the negative words.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that I can be still and know that You are God. Help me to stand strong in the defining moments when things come against me and try to stop the good thing You want to do in my life. I declare that I’m going to stay in peace and know that You are in control. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

SECTION TWO

We often hear about Abraham’s faith, but do you know that his wife, Sarah, had faith too? She received divine strength to conceive Isaac, even though by this time, as a woman who had never conceived, she was doubly barren!

How did Sarah find faith? The Bible tells us that she “judged Him faithful who had promised.” She was conscious of the Lord’s faithfulness, not her own faithfulness!

My friend, rest in the faithfulness of Jesus. It’s not your faith but His faithfulness—His faithfulness in always loving you and making good on His promise to heal you.

When you find yourself wavering in faith, judge Him faithful and be at rest. He cannot fail you and will do as His Word has promised!

Believe and speak the truth: “I am the righteousness of God in Christ.” Then, you cannot help but see the results of magnifying the Lord Jesus and His finished work!

Today’s Word
Today’s Scripture
“I will answer them before they even call to me.”
Isaiah 65:24, NLT

It’s in Transit
Don’t ever put God in a box. Quit worrying because you don’t see any way something can happen. Perhaps you don’t have the finances, the medical report is not good, or you don’t know the right people to help you. As far as you can see, there’s no chance. God knew what you’d need long before you had the need. He has ways to make it happen that you’ve never thought of, and He knows how to get it to you. He has answers on the way before you have asked. If you could see all the things that are already in transit for you right now, you wouldn’t worry. You wouldn’t live wondering if it’s going to happen, frustrated because you didn’t get what you were hoping for. When it’s your set time on God’s timetable, it’s coming to you. Quit worrying. Get up every morning with the expectancy that it’s in transit. God may not bring you what you thought or in the way you thought, but what He has will be bigger, better, and more rewarding than you ever imagined.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that before I even ask You for my needs and desires, You’ve already lined them up and have them headed my way. Thank You for the people, the favor, and the promotion You’ve ordained to come across my path. I believe that even now answers to my prayers are on

SECTION TWO

Let me say something about faith. You cannot have faith without speaking it.

When you study Romans 10, you will notice that it says that “the righteousness which is of the law . . . does . . . But the righteousness of faith speaks.” The law is about doing, whereas faith is about speaking.

It is not enough to just know in your mind that you are righteous. It is not enough to just read this chapter or hear a sermon on righteousness and mentally agree that you are righteous. You need to open your mouth and say by faith, “I am the righteousness of God in Christ” (2 Cor. 5:21).

This is where many believers are missing out on the blessing of Abraham. They are not speaking their righteousness by faith.

Our first response to a trying situation is very important. Our first response when we discover a symptom in our body, when we receive a bad report, or when we are faced with a trial, should always be to say, “I am the righteousness of God in Christ.”

Come on now, this is where the rubber meets the road. This is when we need to speak it. You need to not only know that you are righteous, you need to believe and speak your righteousness in Christ. It is not faith until you speak it!

Paul said, “And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, ‘I believed and therefore I spoke,’ we also believe and therefore speak” (2 Cor. 4:13). The spirit of faith is clearly about believing and speaking.

So it does not matter how many sermons or books on righteousness you have heard and read. You need to believe it and speak it.

When you fail and fall short of the law’s perfect standard, that is the time you should exercise your faith to say, “I am the righteousness of God in Christ.” At that very moment when you are seething in anger at your spouse, or when you have just lost your cool on the road, it takes faith to say that you are righteous because you know that you have missed it.

And you know what? The moment you say it, even if you are still in the midst of your anger, you will feel like you have ushered something good into that situation. You take a step back and start to relax, and the anger dissipates as you begin to realize your true identity in Christ.

Men, if you see a scantily clad woman on television or on the cover of a magazine and you are tempted, what is your first response? Are you sin-conscious or righteousness-conscious?

Sin-consciousness will draw you to succumb to your temptation, whereas righteousness-consciousness gives you the power to overcome every temptation.

That is why the enemy wants to keep you sin-conscious. Confessing your sins all the time keeps you sin-conscious. It is as if Jesus did not become your sin on the cross.

Righteousness-consciousness keeps you conscious of Jesus. Every time you speak it, you magnify the work of Jesus on the cross.

So believe and speak the truth: “I am the righteousness of God in Christ.” Then, you cannot help but see the results of magnifying the Lord Jesus and His finished work!

Today’s Word
Today’s Scripture
Those who are planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.
Psalm 92:13, NKJV

Strength Through Connection
California’s magnificent redwood trees can reach heights of 350 feet and live for 2,000 years. They’re incredibly resilient, withstanding strong wind, storms, and pests that take other trees down. What’s interesting is that their roots are only six-to-twelve-feet deep. The only way the shallow roots can hold up these massive trees is that the roots spread out 100 feet and intertwine with other redwoods’ roots. Against the storms, the whole redwood forest is linked together and stands strong.

Storms may be blowing against you today in your health, your finances, a relationship, trying to push you down, telling you it’s never going to work out, that you have too many obstacles. When you’re planted in a community of faith, your faith gets connected with others’ faith. Before long, you have a support system that cannot be shaken. When the storms come, what would have normally blown you over if you were alone can’t move you. You have others who steady you, encourage you, and uphold you. When we’re all connected, together we can’t be defeated. Together we’re powerful.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You for the strength and support system I have when I’m connected to others. Thank You that I can be planted in Your house and that my faith can be joined to others’ faith. Help me to get plugged in and see faith grow and become powerful. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

SECTION TWO

Do you know what Mary saw as she looked into the tomb? She saw the substance of the ark of the covenant. Just as we saw that there were two cherubim or angels on the mercy seat, there were two angels sitting where Jesus had lain—one at the head and the other at the feet.

It was an empty tomb that our Savior was laid in after He had paid the full price for our sins with His own blood. Today, this tomb remains empty because all our sins are forgiven and our Lord is risen!

Our hope, confidence, and assurance of salvation are found in the nail-pierced hands of our resurrected Savior. The mercy seat is a picture of the throne of grace (Heb. 4:16). That is where we want to be—at the throne of grace, under the protective covering of His feathers and His wings.

I want to encourage you with this praise report from Veronica, who lives in New York City.

A few nights ago my husband, Casey, and I were stuck in a traffic jam for five hours. So we put on a sermon by Pastor Joseph Prince titled The Secret Place Where You Find Protection and Long Life. Later, we found out that a fatal accident had taken place just five seconds ahead of us before we got stuck. Five seconds. The Lord had protected us from the accident!

Today, Casey was again protected miraculously. It appeared that a driver had had a heart attack while driving and passed out. It led to a chain collision and all the cars in front of and behind Casey got hit. And the drivers were taken to the hospital.

Despite all this, Casey’s car was completely untouched. Everything happened so quickly that he had no time to react. It was the Lord who protected him once again because that very morning, Casey was reading a devotional by Pastor Prince that drew Bible references from Psalm 91 . . . “He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge.”

Truly, there is no safer place in the universe than under the protective shelter of our Savior’s wings. What blessed assurance we can have today, knowing that even if destruction rages around us, there is always refuge and comfort in the Lord, our unfailing peace, protection, and supply.

I completely agree with Veronica that there is no safer place in the universe than under His wings, and I rejoice that the Lord’s protection over her and Casey is for us as well!

Stop living in fear, my friend. Instead, follow our Lord wholly like Caleb did and worship His wonderful name.

Today’s Word
Today’s Scripture
The very day I call for help, the tide of battle turns. My enemies flee! This one thing I know: God is for me!
Psalm 56:9, TLB

Know One Thing
You may feel like the underdog today, and that the odds seem like they’re against you. When the obstacles look bigger, stronger, and more powerful, don’t worry. Since God is for you, that means the odds are for you. Don’t go through life thinking, “I come from the wrong family. The odds are against me.” No, turn it around. “I’ve been born into a new family. My Heavenly Father controls the universe. He is a supernatural God. He parts Red Seas. He turns water into wine. He opens the eyes of the blind.”
You and God are a majority. You don’t need everyone to be for you. You don’t have to have all the support and encouragement. You have the One who matters. The Most High God is breathing in your direction. Don’t let the odds discourage you. Don’t let what you think is not going to happen talk you out of believing. Even if the odds are zero in a million, all God has to do is speak and the odds change in your favor. All through the day, say, “The odds are for me.”

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that I am not on my own, I am not an underdog, and I am equipped for whatever I am facing. Thank You that because You are with me, the odds that seem against me are actually for me. I declare that I know this one thing: You are for me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

SECTION TWO

I am sure that you have heard a lot of teaching on fearing the Lord. I do believe in a reverential honor of the Lord. But I am not for any kind of teaching that promotes this idea that God wants you to be afraid of Him.

God delights in having us close to Him. He welcomes us to dwell in His secret place, to be so close to Him that we come under His shadow. These are all pictures of intimacy.

In any relationship, fear and intimacy cannot coexist. If you fear God today, you won’t be able to believe Him for His protection. That is why it is so important for you to be strong and established in His grace.

The author of the book of Hebrews says, “Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need” (Heb. 4:16). This is a picture of the ark of the covenant, God’s throne of grace.

Because our Lord’s blood has been shed on the mercy seat, today, we can come boldly into His presence without any sense of inferiority or shame, and receive His favor, His supply, His protection, and His help in our time of need.

Jesus defined the fear of the Lord as the worship of the Lord. In the wilderness temptation, Jesus responded to the devil by saying, “Away with you, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the LORD your God, and Him only you shall serve'” (Matt. 4:8–10). Our Lord was quoting from Deuteronomy 6:13, which says, “You shall fear the LORD your God and serve Him.” Our Lord substituted the word “fear” with the word “worship.”

Jesus was showing us how to accurately understand the fear of the Lord. In the new covenant, it has nothing to do with being afraid of the Lord; it has everything to do with coming into His presence with boldness and worshiping Him.

Stop living in fear, my friend. Instead, follow our Lord wholly like Caleb did and worship His wonderful name.

The prayer of protection in Psalm 91 is a psalm of worship. When you worship Jesus, all your fears will fade away. When you worship Him, the angel of the Lord encamps around you like a shield of protection. When you worship your Savior, His Spirit of wisdom and counsel will lead and guide you with rivers of peace!

If you ever had any doubt that God desires for you to live a long, good life, let Psalm  be your answer.

Gospel Corner

18/08/25

This is the most important verse in Psalm 91! If you ever had any doubt that God desires for you to live a long, good life, let this verse be your answer.

You may be battling with a health condition right now, but by faith let’s hold fast to this verse together. In Jesus’ mighty name, I see you healed, healthy, and whole. I see you strong in Christ and ready to take on any giant that is ahead of you.

One of my favorite pictures of long life is found in the biblical character Caleb. When he was eighty-five years old, he said, “I am this day, eighty-five years old. As yet I am as strong this day as on the day that Moses sent me; just as my strength was then, so now is my strength for war” (Josh. 14:10–11).

The faith picture here of long life is not just in terms of quantity—the number of days—but also quality—health and strength. Caleb remained as strong at eighty-five as he was when he was forty-five. Which means in the last forty years in the harsh wilderness, his strength, youth, and vigor didn’t diminish. There was no leaking, no receding, and no fading away of his strength!

If perhaps you think that Caleb was just talking big, look at what he said next: “Now therefore, give me this mountain of which the LORD spoke in that day; for you heard in that day how the Anakim were there, and that the cities were great and fortified. It may be that the LORD will be with me, and I shall be able to drive them out as the LORD said” (Josh. 14:12).

At eighty-five, Caleb was ready to fight with giants to gain possession of a mountain! And Caleb did as he said! Read the evidence for yourself: “Hebron therefore became the inheritance of Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite to this day, because he wholly followed the LORD God of Israel” (Josh. 14:14).

You were impressed when a teenage shepherd boy picked a fight with one giant named Goliath? We should be completely blown away by this eighty-five-year-old, who took on a whole mountain packed with giants!

Caleb was zealous for the Lord’s glory. As far as he was concerned, there was unfinished business because the Lord had promised them the mountain forty years ago.

My personal belief is that his biological clock stopped ticking and he basically stopped aging because he kept his eyes not on himself, but on the promises of the Lord. As you meditate on and find strength in God’s promises, the same can happen for you!

Are you facing a situation that just seems impossible to overcome?

17/08/25

Do you often feel as though God is displeased with you because you can’t seem to break out of a bad habit? Are you facing a situation that just seems impossible to overcome? Let me share Colton’s testimony with you to show you how believing in Jesus’ finished work and receiving His grace are key to receiving your breakthrough.

Since Colton was a little boy, he tried to please God by his performance and obedience. Whenever he sinned by doing or not doing something, he would feel totally condemned and depressed. He found that the more he tried to get rid of certain bad habits by self-discipline, the more he continued in them.

Right after graduation from high school, this young man from Texas received one of my books. Through reading the book, he understood that God is fully pleased with him—not based on his works, but on the perfect, finished work of Jesus at the cross.

Colton began confessing that he was still righteous in Christ through His perfect sacrifice whenever he missed the mark. The result? Listen to what he says: “I was finally able to overcome many wrong habits and attitudes. I also went from a 1.76 grade point average (GPA) in high school to a 4.00 GPA in my first semester in college. As I began to be more conscious of Jesus and not my performance, faith was just there and things that held me back fell away.”

When Colton decided to pursue further education in the field of medicine, it appeared to be an impossible situation as the tuition fee was simply unaffordable for his family. But as this brother continued to believe God and receive His grace through Christ Jesus, he began to see “obstacle after obstacle removed.” He shared happily with me, “Today, half of my tuition fee has been paid off, and Jesus is already working on clearing the rest for me!”

Beloved, God still sees you righteous even when you fail, because you are forever perfect and accepted in Christ. God judges you not based on your imperfect performance, but on the perfect performance and sacrifice of Christ.

The more you believe and receive this truth, the more you will, like Colton, overcome every bad habit and receive your breakthroughs.

Today’s Word
Today’s Scripture
Then Jesus said, “Let’s go off by ourselves to a quiet place and rest awhile.” He said this because there were so many people coming and going that Jesus and his apostles didn’t even have time to eat.
Mark 6:31, NLT.

Living Balanced

You’re a three-part being—spiritual, physical, and emotional. You have to take care of each one. You can pray for twenty-four hours a day, but you’re not going to feel well physically. You can go to the gym and work out five hours a day, seven days a week, but if you’re not taking time for your spiritual and emotional side, you’re not going to be your best. You can’t stay up all night and not get proper sleep and expect to have the passion you need. You can’t drink twenty cups of coffee a day, eat junk food, and expect to feel well. Some people are discouraged, don’t have any energy, and they’re praying for a miracle. If Jesus showed up, He would say, “Get away and quiet yourself. Get some sleep. Start eating better. Take care of yourself.”

Living balanced is the key. You have to take care of all three parts. You will be your most productive, your most effective, when you’re balanced physically, spiritually, and emotionally. If you neglect one area, it will lessen what you could accomplish.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You for giving me my body to live in and to care for as a temple of Your Spirit. Thank You for the example of how Jesus would get away and be refreshed when He was tired. Help me to be wise about taking care of myself and living balanced. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

SECTION TWO

There are many believers who are defeated because they are struggling to qualify for God’s blessings through their own works. What you need to understand is that self-effort will rob you of reigning in life by God’s grace.

You cannot earn your salvation, healing, or financial breakthrough by your own efforts. If the greatest miracle—being saved and made alive with Jesus—comes by grace through faith, and not by your works, how much more the lesser miracles, such as healing, provision, and restored marriages?

It is not about your work or performance, but Jesus’ work and performance. Only His work is a finished work. And not only did He sit down at the Father’s right hand, but today’s Scripture states that He also made us sit with Jesus!

What does this mean? Well, my friend, “sitting down” in the Bible is a picture of the believer resting in the perfect and finished work of Jesus. Christ has finished all the work on the cross on your behalf and is now seated at the right hand of God.

As it has all been accomplished on your behalf, this means that you can stop depending on your self-efforts to earn and qualify for God’s blessings in your life. You can sit down with Jesus at the Father’s right hand!

Now, listen carefully to what I am saying. I am not advocating a life of passiveness and laziness regarding the study of God’s Word, prayer, or worship. When it comes to success in your job, I’m also certainly not saying that you shouldn’t be diligent or seeking to develop your abilities. God’s grace does not make you lazy and unproductive.

On the contrary, it makes you labor more abundantly for His glory. The apostle Paul, a preacher of God’s grace and the finished work of Jesus, said that he “labored more abundantly than they all” (1 Cor. 15:10).

What you need to realize is, in the new covenant, God’s way is to bless you first, and the knowledge of His blessing then empowers you to labor more abundantly. In other words, we do not labor to be blessed, but rather we have the power to labor because we are already blessed. Can you see the different premise for laboring in the new covenant?

My friend, Jesus has accomplished everything for us on the cross. Our part is to trust in His perfect work. Receive with open arms His abundance of grace and His gift of righteousness, and sit down and begin to reign in life through Him.

Today, let it be your prayer that you will stop trying to earn God’s grace and righteousness. Let the Holy Spirit teach you to start depending on Jesus’ finished work and to start receiving by His grace. This is God’s way to success, wholeness, and victorious living!

God who controls the universe says He will take care of your enemies

Today’s Word
Today’s Scripture
Remember the miraculous signs and wonders, and the strong hand and powerful arm with which he brought you out of Egypt. The LORD your God will use this same power against all the people you fear.”
Deuteronomy 7:19, NLT

The Same Power
The nation of Israel had wandered around in the desert for forty years, and God was about to take them into the Promised Land. But there were seven nations in their path that were much bigger and stronger. Moses didn’t know what they were going to do. In the natural, they could never defeat them. But God told them that He was going to go before them and clear out these nations. They were to remember how He miraculously delivered them from Pharaoh and to know that He would defeat the enemies before them.

You will face times when the odds are against you. It’s easy to think, “This sickness is much bigger than me. This addiction is much stronger than me. These people coming against me are much more powerful.” Don’t worry. God will go before you and clear the path. On your own you may be outnumbered. What you’re up against may be bigger, stronger, more talented, and have more resources, but you’re not on your own. The God who controls the universe says He will take care of your enemies.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You for the strength that rises within me whenever I remember what You have done in my life and in others’ lives. Thank You for the times You opened doors that seemed closed and defeated problems that were far too big for me. I will not be afraid. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

SECTION TWO

Do you know what makes Christianity unique and gives it the power to free people from all fears, condemning thoughts, and addictions? Many of the world’s belief systems are governed by moral codes, rules, and laws. But Christianity is unique in that it is not about an impersonal list of dos and don’ts.

It is about having a relationship with Almighty God. And it is God working in us and for us through this relationship that brings transformation in our lives.

Beloved, God is all about having a relationship with you today. The apostle John tells us that “the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ” (John 1:17).

Notice also that the law was given. This implies a sense of distance. In contrast, grace came! Grace is personal and came as a person—the person of Jesus Christ.

The law is hard, cold, and impersonal. You cannot have a relationship with two tablets of stone. But grace is gentle and warm. Grace is not a teaching or doctrine. Grace is a person, and you can have a relationship with a person.

God is not interested in mere obedience and submission. He is a God of love and He longs to have an intimate relationship with you.

Jesus came and died a cruel death on the cross, paying the full debt of sin with His own life so that you and I can reign in life today. His sacrifice fulfilled every requirement of the law perfectly on our behalf (Matt. 5:17 NIV). All that we were unable to do, He did on our behalf.

When you receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you are made holy and righteous by His blood once and for all. You can enter into a relationship with Almighty God and come boldly into His presence without any guilt, condemnation, or expectation of punishment.

You see, when you have fulfilled your debt to the lender for the mortgage on your house, you stop sending in your monthly payments because the debt has already been fulfilled. If the lender sends you a letter demanding additional payment, all you have to do is produce the title deed to your home. In the same sense, the debt that you and I owed to the law has already been fulfilled by our Savior, Jesus Christ! Hallelujah!

When the devil comes to accuse you with the law and shows you how you have fallen short and failed, turn your eyes away from yourself and point to the payment that Jesus made on the cross. Christ is your title deed, which is why you are called a “Christian” today.

You are not your own. You have been purchased with the precious blood of Jesus Christ. His blood, shed for you, is what makes your relationship with God secure. It is what gives you the basis to reach out and receive your freedom from your loving Savior today!

Don’t focus on your vulnerability or the lack in your life and get discouraged.

Today’s Word
Today’s Scripture
“The master said, ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you many more responsibilities. Let’s celebrate together!’”
Matthew 25:23, NLT

Well Done
In Jesus’ parable of the bags of gold in Matthew 25, the master entrusted one servant with five bags, another with two bags, and the third with one bag. Each received according to his ability. The point of the parable was not how many gifts God has given us, but that we be faithful to use whatever gifts are ours. He’s saying that you can’t wait for the perfect time or when you’re in your comfort zone. You have to take steps of faith now, and if you don’t use your gifts, you’ll lose them. God is expecting You to stir up what He has put in you, develop those gifts, and use them to give Him a return on His investment. Keep using what you have and He will give you more.

Don’t compare your gifts to someone else. You’re not in a competition with them. Be the best that you can be with what you have. Take the gifts you have, be faithful to develop them, and God will give you more ability, more skill, more favor, more influence.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that You are sovereign in the gifts and the calling You have given me. Thank You that I can take steps of faith today to stir up my gifts and be faithful to use them. I will celebrate and develop all that You have

SECTION TWO

When you look at yourself (your weaknesses) and your negative circumstances, it’s easy to become seized with anxiety, fear, and despair.

That’s why God wants us to look away from ourselves and look at Jesus. In God’s eyes, because He has placed us in Christ, Jesus’ reality is our reality today—”as He is, so are we in this world”!

So don’t focus on your vulnerability or the lack in your life and get discouraged. Ask yourself: Is Jesus abandoned, forgotten, sick, and poor today? No, He is at the right hand of the Father, full of life, peace, joy, and favor.

All of heaven’s resources are at His disposal. He is greatly blessed, highly favored, and deeply loved by the Father today, and so are you!

To be Jesus-occupied like this is to see as God sees. And when you see as God sees, you will also see the grace and supply of the Lord swallow up every lack in your life!
