Forty eight more COVID-19 Patients have been discharged in Lagos.

The patients are 16 females and thirty two 32 Males all Nigerians.

They were discharged from the Isolation facilities at Yaba, Lekki, Onikan and LUTHofficial to reunite with the society.

The patients; 28 from Infectious disease hospital Yaba, six(6 )from Lekki, one(1 )from Onikan and thirteen (13 )from the Lagos state university teaching hospital official Treatment Centres have fully recovered and tested negative twice consecutively to COVID19

With this, the number of patients successfully managed and discharged in Lagos has risen to 406.

The Lagos state Ministry of Health has reacted to what it describes as fake reports making the rounds that the Commissioner for Health, @ProfAkinAbayomi has tested positive to COVID19 infection.

In a press Statement On Friday,the Commissioner urged the public to disregard this absolute the news as it was absolute falsehood , fabricated to cause panic.

“The Commissioner said it was the hand work of mischief makers who are out to create unnecessary panic and fear amongst the populace.

He said he was hale And hearty, and has continued in his capacity as the Deputy Incident Commander of the #COVID19Lagos Intervention to coordinate activities and response in order to break the chain of transmission of the infection in Lagos”

It is worthy of note that Professor Akin has worked doggedly with the support of Governor Babajide Sanwo -olu to Professionally manage the situation since the outbreak of the corona Virus.

The Confirmed cases in the state has risen to 1507,Active cases 1050,Discharged cases 406,And 33 Deaths.

Ten people working closely with Lagos State House in Marina have tested positive to the dreaded corona virus.

The state house has been decontaminated to control the spread while contact tracing of the aids involved has started.

The information was confirmed on Thursday by the commissioner for health, Proff. Akin Abayomi through his verified Twitter handle.

Professor Abayomi
Urged all residents of the state to embrace the use of face Masks, and observe all precautionary measures in a bid to break the transmission circle of the Virus.

Also 48 new COVID-19 Patients have been discharged from various isolation centers in Lagos State.

The Patients who are All Nigerians include 32 Males and 16 Females.

28 of the Patients were discharged from the Yaba infectious disease Hospital,6 from Lekki isolation centers
1 from Onikan Centre and 13 from Luth Isolation centre.

With this, Lagos state now has a total of. 406 Discharged Cases after testing negative to the virus

The Governor of Lagos state Babajide Sanwo-Olu has announced the discharge of another batch of 37 COVID-19 patients from various Isolation centres in the Lagos state .

The governor who announced their discharge through his tweeter handle Wednesday night said the patients were released from the Yaba, Onikan and Eti-Osa isolation Centres .

The discharged patients include 19 females, 18 males and 1 Indian national.

This brings to a total number of 358 cases successfully managed and discharged in the state since outbreak

Sixty (60 )more COVID19 patients in Lagos have been discharged, the highest so far since the outbreak of the disease .

The patients are ,twenty (20 )females forty (40 )males, all Nigerians were discharged from the Isolation facilities at Yaba, Ibeju-Lekki and Eti-Osa (Landmark) to reunite with their families

The patients, thirty one (31 )from ISolation disease hospital Yaba, nineteen (19 )from Ibeju-Lekki and ten (10 )from the Eti-Osa (LandMark)Isolation Centres have fully recovered & tested negative to COVID19

With this, the number of patients successfully managed and discharged in Lagos is now 321.

Fourteen more Patients have been discharged from some isolation centres in Lagos.

The Patients including 6 females and 8 Males were discharged from The LUTH,Onikan,YABA And Land Mark Isolation centres after testing negative twice to the Virus Isolation centres.
