22 PATIENTS OF COVID-19 COMPRISING OF 8 FEMALES AND 14 MALES HAVE BEEN DISCHARGED IN LAGOS AFTER SUCCESSFUL TREATMENT.
19 OUT OF THE PATIENTS WERE DISCHARGED FROM THE LAGOS UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL LUTH, 2 FROM THE YABA INFECTIOUS DISEASE HOSPITAL, AND ONE FROM LEKKI ISOLATION WARD AFTER TESTING NEGATIVE TO THE VIRUS.
THIS BRINGS TO A TOTAL OF 247 PATIENTS SUCCESSFULLY TREATED AND DISCHARGED IN LAGOS SINCE THE OUTBREAK OF THE DISEASE.

The Lagos state government has discharged another set of 26 COVID19 patients in the state.
14 out of the newly released patients are males and 12 females including 2 foreign nationals – a Polish and a Filipino.
14 of them were released from the Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba while 12 were released from the Onikan Isolation Centre .
They were discharged having fully recovered and tested negative to COVID-19 in two consecutive readings.
With this, the number of #COVID19 confirmed cases that have been successfully managed and discharged in Lagos are now 225,Confirmed Cases 992,Active Cases,And Deaths 21

The Governor of Lagos state Babajide Sanwo-Olu has commissioned Another world class Isolation centre at The Gbagada General Hospital.
The 118 Bed space ward will no doubt help improve Patients care in the fight against covid-19 in the State at a time when pressure is beginning to mont on existing facilities with confirmed cases of over 992.
