TEN NEW CASES OF CORONA VIRUS HAVE BEEN CONFIRMED IN NIGERIA,

OUT OF THE TEN IMPORTED CASES,LAGOS HAS TEN AND THE FEDERAL CAPITAL TERRITORY FCT HAS THREE.

THIS COMING JUST AFTER 11 PATIENTS GOT DISCHARGED FROM THE YABA ISOLATION WARD IN LAGOS.

NOW NIGERIA HAS A TOTAL OF 184 CONFIRMED CASES, TWENTY DISCHARGED AND TWO DEATH.

There is a brighter ray of hope for Nigerians in the battle against Corona Virus as eleven more patients got discharged on Thursday evening from the YABA ISOLATION WARD in Lagos.

The Good news was announced on the Twitter handle of Governor Babajide Sanwo-olu.

The Discharge of this eleven Patients brings to a total of twenty so far discharged since the disease got into Nigeria through an unnamed Italian Citizen on the 27th of February 2020.

Also breaking is the record of ten new imported cases of the virus.

Seven out of the ten new cases were recorded in Lagos State while three at the Federal capital territory.

With this development, NIGERIA now has a total record of 184 confirmed cases,20 Discharged and two deaths.

The Chief Medical Director of the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, Professor Jesse Otegbayo,who tested positive to the COVID-19 virus a few days ago has now tested negative after about eight days of isolation and treatment.

This was confirmed by the head of Public Relations Unit of the hospital Mr Toye Akinrinlola in a press release that the latest test of his blood sample came out negative to the virus covid-19
