The Comptroller-General of Immigration, Muhammad Babandede, has tested positive for coronavirus.
Babandede said he is already on Self Isolation since his return from the United Kingdom on the 22nd of March.

The Queen of England Elizabeth the 2nd has tested positive to corona Virus .
Buckingham Palace Confirmed this news in a Press release .
Though she has shown a mild symptoms of the corona Virus, a palace sources says she is in a stable condition
This is coming few days after her son Prince Charles tested positive to the Virus.
The Prime Minister Boris. Johnson has also tested positive to the Virus.

The Governor of Kaduna State Mallam Nasir El- Rufai has tested positive to corona Virus.
Confirming the news on his social media platform ,he said he was now on isolation.
“According to the protocols for managing Covid-19, l am now on self-isolation.
“I wish to appeal to the people of Kaduna State to continue to closely observe the preventive measures already announced.
It is most important that everybody should do their utmost to stay safe, stay home and stay alive.
The Deputy Governor is chairing our Covid-19 Taskforce and will continue to issue statements from time to time” the Governor said.
A total of 97 cases of covid -19 now confirmed in NIGERIA

As part of Measures to contain the alarming spread of Corona Virus in Lagos State ,the Government has imposed a dusk to Dawn curfew which takes effect from Tomorrow Sunday 29th of March
Meanwhile, the Nigeria Centre for disease control has confirmed seven new case of coronavirus in Lagos state bringing lagos 59 ,FCT 14 ,Ogun 3,Enugu 2,Ekiti 1 ,Oyo 3 Edo 2,Bauchi 2 Osun 1,Rivers 1 and Benue state 1 making a total of 89 confirmed cases
Lagos state has also recorded additional seven new cases bringing the total to 89 confirmed cases in Nigeria

News Just reaching us, says a Bomb explosion has destroyed over one hundred houses in Akure North Local Government area of Ondo state .
The explosion was said to have been caused by a police vehicle who was conveying bomb to an unknown destination and later p exploded in the early hours of morning Saturday 28th March 2020.
The explosion created a big ditch on the Akure-Owo highway that resulting to traffic in the area,but no life was reported lost
Meanwhile Ondo state Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu has urged residents of the ondo community who were affected by the Bomb Explosion to allow security experts access the Situation.
Governor Akeredolu stated this when a visited the scene of the incidents which left over one hundred houses destroyed.
He Said the Government will provide an alternative route for commuters plying the Akure-Owo highway,which has been badly damaged due to the impact of the blast.

The Fiancee of Popular Musician Chioma Davido has tested positive to covid-19
The Star Musician who confirmed this news on his Twitter handle said they decided to go for a test following their travel history from America And London.
Chioma tested positive and has been quarantined,while Davido himself is now on isolation.
Davido noted in his tweet that they had no symptoms of the Virus and that they both feel perfectly fine.
Meanwhile five new cases have been confirmed in NIGERIA bringing to a total 81 cases

OUT OF THE NEW CASES ,ENUGU STATE HAS TWO WHILE LAGOS STATE HAS 8 AND EDO ONE.
THESE NEW CASES BRINGS THE TOTAL OF CONFIRMED CASES IN NIGERIA TO 81 CASES WITH THREE DISCHARGED AND ONE DEATH

PRESS RELEASE
Former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo on Friday, announced that his former residence at the Presidential Hilltop, Abeokuta, Ogun State be used as Isolation centre for victims of the dreaded Coronavirus disease.
Obasanjo said the 32-room facility has been handed over to the Ogun state government for immediate take over.
The Special Assistant Media, Kehinde Akinyemi who confirmed the development said that the former President was concerned about the pandemic “and I think those who can in one way or another assist in this situation should do so,” he was quoted as having said.
The facility located off the Presidential Boulevard, Oke Aari, Abeokuta has each of the 32 rooms ensuite, with a standby generator.

The Lagos state government after days of clinical trials for chloroquine as an effective medication for COVID-19 has come up with positive results.
The COMMISSIONER for health Professor Akin ABAYOMI however warned the the use of Chloroquine for effective result must be by the supervision of appropriate Authorities to avoid misuse, there by causing more damage.
This News comes with a great relief has the soaring cases of COVID-19 in the state to 44 cases within a few weeks after the index cases has resulted in serious Panic
Meanwhile, the NIGERIA center for Disease control has confirmed the record of five more cases in Nigeria, Three in Abuja, and Two in Oyo bringing to a total of 70 confirmed Cases with three discharged and one death.

In a bid to cushion the effect of Market Closure, the Lagos state governor in an ongoing broadcast confirms the establishment of 50 Neighbourhood markets accross the state.
He also confirmed that 5 cases of the virus who have recovered will likely be released later tonight as they are undergoing last set of testing.
He says he will be signing into law an infection disease emergency management bill passed by the state Assembly a day ago.
He said the state will be sending food to registered indigent members of the state.
