Today’s Scripture
“Let’s go,” they said. “We realize that we have sinned, but now we are ready to enter the land the LORD has promised us.” But Moses said, “Why are you now disobeying the LORD’s orders to return to the wilderness? It won’t work. Do not go up into the land now. You will only be crushed by your enemies.”
Numbers 14:40–42, NLT

Windows of Grace
God had given the Israelites an incredible window of grace to go into the Promised Land, the power to overcome and the strength to defeat the opposition. He promised them victory, but they refused when they saw the giants and fortified cities and turned back into the wilderness. They didn’t realize that window of grace had closed and that if they tried to do it on their own, they would be crushed.

This is why it’s so important to not put off what you know God is telling you to do. God won’t give you the opportunity and not give you the grace to do it. When you feel that urging, that knowing, whether it’s to break a bad habit or step into something that feels over your head, if you keep delaying, the window is eventually going to close. That moment is not going to be there forever. You may feel afraid. Your mind may tell you all the reasons it’s not going to work out. Don’t do like the Israelites. Put your shoulders back, hold your head up high, and step into it.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that in the routine of my ordinary days, You open up windows of grace that can change everything. Thank You that You’re orchestrating moments when You empower me to come up higher. I declare that I will step into it and receive the promise. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

My friend, today do you believe that God is for you and not against you? You see, the greatest blessing anyone can have is peace with God through Jesus Christ (Rom. 5:1). To know beyond the shadow of any doubt that all your sins are forgiven is the greatest provision made for you on Calvary’s hill.

Jesus took upon Himself all your sins at the cross. He absorbed all of God’s fiery indignation and judgment against all your sins, past, present, and future, so that you can be totally forgiven and have everlasting peace with God.

So today, there is nothing between you and God. There is no more sin, no more shame, and no more condemnation! And if God is for you, who can be against you? Now, what will you do today knowing that all His favor, wisdom, heavenly provision, and blessings are backing you up, and that you cannot fail?

Whether It Is A Small Or Big Attack, His Truth—Your Shield And Buckler—Covers You Completely!

Today’s Word

Today’s Scripture
They arrested the apostles and put them in the public jail. But during the night an angel of the Lord opened the doors of the jail and brought them out. “Go, stand in the temple courts,” he said, “and tell the people all about this new life.”
Acts 5:18–20, NIV

Locked Doors Are Not a Problem
The religious authorities in Jerusalem thought they could stop the miracles and the great crowds of people who were coming to faith by arresting the apostles and putting them in prison. But God sent an angel to open the securely locked doors, and the apostles continued to deliver the good news despite the opposition.

It may look as though a door has been locked on your health, your dream, your career, your education, or a relationship. That door may have been closed a long time. Every circumstance says, “It’s too late. It’s never going to open.” Just smile and say, “That door is not a problem for God. He can make a way where I don’t see a way. Closed doors can’t stop what He wants to do for me and through me.” You need to get ready. You’re about to see God show out in your life. He’s going to make things happen that you could never make happen. One touch of His favor, one good break, one right person, one contract, one idea, and you’ll be thrust to a new level.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that You’re not limited by doors that have been locked for a long time. Thank You that other people and circumstances cannot keep me from what You have ordained for me. I believe that You are opening the right doors, and that You will take me where I’ve never been. In Jesus’ Name, Amen

SECTION TWO

Psalm 91:4 starts with “He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge” and ends with this proclamation: “His truth shall be your shield and buckler.”

What is the shield and buckler? A buckler refers to a small round shield used for close-contact fighting. A shield is much larger, one you can dig into the ground and hide behind when spears, arrows, or rocks are being launched at you in a bigger attack. So whether it is a small or big attack, His truth—your shield and buckler—covers you completely!

In Ephesians 6:16, it tells us to, above all, take the shield of faith to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. Why? Because the shield of faith will cover you all around. Amen!

That is why the devil is after your shield of faith—he wants to make you doubt God’s Word, which is His truth. Once you take up the shield of faith, his attacks against you cannot prosper. So lift up your shield!

My dear reader, as you listen to messages about Jesus’ finished work and your faith is being built, your shield is also being built. Even if you are found in the wrong place at the wrong time, the Lord can protect you when His shield of faith surrounds you and you are placed under the shadow of His wings.

One of our church members was driving on the freeway with his family and came behind a van that had a queen-size mattress tied to its roof. Suddenly, the ropes that secured the mattress to the van snapped and the mattress came hurtling toward his vehicle. He and his wife braced themselves for impact, expecting the large mattress to crash into their windscreen, since there was no way they could avoid it in time.

Miraculously, the mattress somehow hit the road just in front of their car, bounced to the side, and hit another car instead. Thankfully, the driver of that car was able to brake in time and did not cause an accident.

For our church member, it was as if a force field—or an invisible shield—had protected his whole family! Can you imagine what could have happened if that large mattress had crashed into the windscreen of his car, which was ferrying his wife as well as their young children in the backseat?

Let’s give thanks to the Lord, for He is so good and His tender mercies endure forever! Truly, He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge.

LAGOS BOOSTS MEDICAL SUPPLY CHAIN WITH COMMISSIONING OF TWO PHARMAGRADE WAREHOUSES…

PRESS RELEASE

DANIELS O.G

·         Expands Pharmaceutical Storage Capacity with Cutting-Edge Warehousing Technology

·         As Governor Sanwo-Olu’s Administration Continues to Strengthens Healthcare Infrastructure

The Lagos State Government has further reinforced its commitment to quality healthcare delivery with the commissioning of two newly upgraded Pharmagrade warehouses at the Lagos State Medical Store (LSMS), Oshodi. The state-of-the-art facilities, launched on Thursday, January 30, 2025, will significantly enhance the storage and distribution of essential medicines, ensuring efficiency, safety, and accessibility for Lagos residents.

Speaking at the event, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Health, Dr. (Mrs.) Kemi Ogunyemi, highlighted the significance of the project, describing it as a crucial step in fortifying Lagos’ healthcare supply chain. She noted that Lagos was among 21 states selected by the National Product Supply Chain Management Program (NPSCMP) for infrastructural upgrades under the Resilient and Sustainable System for Health (RSSH) Grant 2 funded by the Global Fund and facilitated through UNICEF.

“Lagos State has always been at the forefront of healthcare innovation, and today’s commissioning reaffirms our commitment to ensuring that all medicines and medical supplies in our care remain potent, secure, and readily available,” Dr. Ogunyemi stated. She emphasized that the newly commissioned warehouses are equipped with temperature control systems, laboratories for drug analysis, cold rooms, inventory management technologies, alternative power sources, and advanced security features to meet national standards.

Dr. Ogunyemi further expressed gratitude to partners, stakeholders, and healthcare professionals who contributed to the successful execution of the project. She reiterated that the Lagos State Government provided 15% counterpart funding for the upgrade, demonstrating its strong ownership and commitment to sustainable healthcare improvements.

In his remarks, the Permanent Secretary of the Lagos State Ministry of Health, Dr. Olusegun Ogboye, acknowledged the transformation of the LSMS from its previously dilapidated state to a world-class medical storage facility. He recalled his initial visit to the complex, where he observed the poor conditions under which staff operated due to non-functional generators, faulty power supply, and deteriorating infrastructure.

“I remember walking through the old warehouses and feeling deeply sorry for the staff who worked under such conditions. Today, I am pleased that they now have access to modern, functional, and conducive workspaces,” Dr. Ogboye said. He commended the dedication of Pharm. (Mrs.) Oyebisi Omolambe, the Director of Pharmaceutical Services, for her efforts in driving the upgrade and leaving behind a lasting legacy.

Dr. Ogboye also announced that the Lagos State Government would commence the renovation of Warehouses A and B to ensure that all storage facilities at the LSMS meet global standards. However, he cautioned against misuse of the warehouses, stressing that they should not become dumping grounds for obsolete equipment, expired drugs, or archived documents.

“The maintenance of these warehouses is critical. We cannot afford to return in a year to find these facilities in a deplorable state. These are high-tech infrastructures, and they must be preserved for sustained efficiency,” he warned.

Delivering a detailed presentation on the Pharmagrade Warehouse Project, Director of Pharmaceutical Services, Pharm. (Mrs.) Oyebisi Omolambe outlined the significance of the LSMS as a hub for receiving, warehousing, and distributing medical and non-medical commodities procured by or donated to the Lagos State Ministry of Health. She highlighted that the total storage capacity of the new warehouses is 1,136.52m², with 272 racks and 1,632 pallet spaces.

The Coordinator of the Global Fund Grant Management Unit, Mr. Abiodun Omoloja, commended the Lagos State Government’s proactive approach in healthcare investments. He assured continued support from the Global Fund, revealing that additional renovations are underway for Stores G and F to further strengthen medical storage and distribution capacity in the state.

Other dignitaries present at the event, including Pharm. Sulaiman Hassan, Regional Director of USAID-GHSC, Pharm. Shakirat Adeosun, Director of Pharmaceutical Services, Lagos State Primary Healthcare Board, and Pharm. (Dr.) Patricia Odunuga, Director of Pharmaceutical Services, LASUTH, lauded the state’s commitment to quality healthcare infrastructure. They emphasized the need for proper maintenance of the warehouses and pledged continued collaboration to sustain high standards.

Similarly, Pharm. Adeosun stressed the importance of the warehouses in ensuring drug integrity, safety, and compliance with pharmaceutical standards. She affirmed the Primary Healthcare Board’s support in maximizing the benefits of the upgraded facilities.

The commissioning of the two Pharmagrade warehouses marks a significant milestone in Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s THEMES+ agenda, which prioritizes healthcare infrastructure and service delivery. The project is expected to reduce delays in medicine supply, improve accountability, and ensure that quality medical commodities reach the last mile of healthcare service delivery.

As Lagos State continues to set the pace in healthcare infrastructure, the successful upgrade of the LSMS facilities reaffirms the administration’s unwavering commitment to providing accessible, efficient, and world-class medical services for all residents.

Storms Come To Us All. It Might Be Your Health, Your Marriage, Your Finances. The Good News is That God Is In Control Of The Winds.

GOSPEL CORNER

JOEL OSTEEN MINISTRIES
Today’s Word

Today’s Scripture
When Jesus woke up, he rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Silence! Be still!” Suddenly the wind stopped, and there was a great calm.
Mark 4:39, NLT

A Great Calm
We all have dreams and promises from God we’re believing for. We start off excited. We’re sailing along fine, making progress, then a storm arises—an unexpected challenge, a sickness, a breakup, we lose a loved one, a contract we were counting on doesn’t go through. It’s easy to get discouraged and think that it’s never going to happen. But God doesn’t promise something and then change His mind. He doesn’t put a dream in your heart and then take it back. What He starts, He finishes. You may not see a way, but God has ways we’ve never thought of.

Storms come to us all. It might be your health, your marriage, your finances. The good news is that God is in control of the winds. He’s in control of what’s trying to stop you. All He has to do is speak the word and calm the storm. Will you trust Him even though the winds are howling and you don’t see any sign of it improving? God is directing the winds, and He’s going to get you to where you’re supposed to be.

JESUS STILLS THE STORM

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that the winds and waves that I face today cannot stop Your plan for my life. Thank You that my purpose is firmly and securely anchored in You. I believe and declare that the storms cannot defeat me and are pushing me into my destiny. In Jesus’ Name, Amen

Your Tomorrow is Greater Than Today

SECTION TWO

You may have read of how Joseph in the book of Genesis wanted his family to dwell in Goshen, which means “drawing near.” He wanted them in a place of nearness to him and he told them, “There I will provide for you” (Gen. 45:11).

Beloved, even in the midst of famine, Jesus, our heavenly Joseph, wants us close to Him so He can provide for us. In the book of Exodus, God declared, “I will set apart the land of Goshen, in which My people dwell, that no swarms of flies shall be there” (Exod. 8:22).

In the land of Goshen, God’s people were protected from all of the ten plagues that besieged the land of Egypt during the time of Moses. In the second last of the ten plagues, a thick, paralyzing darkness covered the land of Egypt for three whole days. Yet, during that time, “all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings” (Exod. 10:23).

I believe it was a supernatural darkness that covered Egypt, because the Egyptians must have turned to natural resources of light to dispel the darkness—only to find they couldn’t. By the same token, it was a supernatural light that the Israelites enjoyed in Goshen, a light the darkness tried to smother but couldn’t.

Now, I believe this is prophetic of our times. The Bible is relevant for today. We are living in days where we see darkness—a supernatural darkness—cover the earth.

Yet, the Scriptures tell us that even when there’s thick and deep darkness all around, the church—you and I, together with our families—can experience and enjoy God’s supernatural light in our dwellings. We, who have been drawn near to Him through the work of His Son, can have intimacy with God and enjoy His protective covering to live fear-free and victoriously in these dark times.

Beloved, in the place of nearness, God makes a difference between His people and the people of the world. We are in this world, but we are not of this world (John 17:14).

WHY NOT NOW COME TO YOUR LORD?

We are His. He desires for us to be close to Him so that He can hide us under the shadow of His wings. He paid the price so that we can be called His children. Oh, what manner of love the Father has given unto us, that we should be called the sons and daughters of the Most High (1 John 3:1)!

Beloved, whatever may be happening in the world today, you can be bold and fearless because nothing can ever separate you from the love of God, your heavenly Father!

On The Way To The Big Things God Has In Store, He will Test Us With Small Things. You Have To First Serve

JOEL OSTEEN MINISTRIES
Today’s Word

Today’s Scripture
“Do you want to stand out? Then step down. Be a servant.”
Matthew 23:11, MSG

BE A SERVANT
Sometimes we don’t serve because it seems small and insignificant. But on the way to the big things God has in store, He will test us with small things. You have to first serve where you are with a good attitude. If you’ll excel in that small position, do more than you have to, God will open something bigger. Don’t discount staying late and helping a coworker. Don’t talk yourself out of going the extra mile in your home, serving your family with a glad heart, getting up early, making sure everything is right. Nobody may be saying thank you, and it feels like it’s unnoticed, but God sees your sacrifice. That’s what leads to new levels.

Where you’re serving may feel small, but it’s key to you rising higher. It may not be the main thing God put in your heart, but it’s leading to the main thing. You can’t skip that step and reach your destiny. Success is not an elevator; it’s a set of stairs. God leads you step-by-step. Will you serve even though it feels insignificant?

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that Jesus came not to be served but to serve others and give His life as a ransom for many. Help me to be like Him and keep my eyes open for the people and opportunities You bring me to serve and bless with a glad heart. I believe You are taking me higher. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

SECTION TWO

Listen to the words that God pronounced over Abraham: “I will bless you and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing” (Gen. 12:2).

My friend, as you trust God to walk more and more in the fullness of Abraham’s blessing, have a revelation that He blesses you because He loves you, and gives to you the privilege of being a practical extension of His love to your community, your country, and beyond.

God’s financial provision is for a divine purpose. Don’t use people and love money. Instead, use money to love people!

When it comes to our relationship with people, it is always more blessed to give than to receive. Have an abundant eye and heart, look around for people in need and bless them. Let your light so shine before all men for the glory of the name of Jesus Christ!

Today, see His abundant grace abounding toward you and your family so that you will have an abundance for every good work!

ZION PRAYER OUTREACH MOVEMENT DISSOCIATES  EVANGELIST EBUKA OBI FROM SOWORE’S FALSE PUBLICATION

28/01/25

DANIELS O.G

I have no connection with dismissal of 3 police officers- Evangelist Ebuka Obi

The Zion Prayer Movement Outreach has expressed deep concern over a publication by Sahara Reporters, linking its Spiritual Director, Evangelist Ebuka Obi to the recent dismissal of 3 police officers by the Police Service Commission.

Evangelist Ebuka Obi, Spiritual Director,Zion Prayer Outreach Movement

A statement by Evangelist Ebuka Obi’s Media Adviser, Dan Aibangbe, described the publication as unfortunate, malicious, scandalous and misleading.

Aibangbe said the report published in the edition of January 25th 2025 with the headline, “Police dismiss officer Peter Ejike over Fraud involving Zion Ministry’s Ebuka Obi in Blogger Ijele Speaks case” is nothing but an attempt to mislead the public and a smear campaign against the revered and non-controversial person of Evangelist Ebuka Obi.

The statement noted that the reasons for the officers’ earlier suspension and subsequent dismissal had earlier been explained by the Police Spokesperson, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Muyiwa Ogunjobi, which include gross misconducts such as illegal duty and stealing in a case involving FATFAD Cargo Nigeria Limited.

Aibangbe explained that one of the affected officers, Peter Ejike was only assigned by the police to investigate a case of threat to life and cyber bully brought against Ijele Speaks and argued that Sahara Reporters’’ deliberately misrepresented the facts in order to malign and tarnish the image of Evangelist Ebuka Obi.

Aibangbe said, “ I personally spoke to Omoyele Sowore, Sahara Reporters publisher and told him that his publication against Evangelist Ebuka Obi is evil, full of hatred and undeserving of a man aspiring to be Nigeria’s president”.

Aibangbe described Sowore’s action as cyber-bullying and criminal libel, calling on the police to invite the Sahara Reporters’ publisher over the grossly misleading, injurious and defamatory story.

Omoyele Sowore, Publisher Sahara Reporters

He urged the public to disregard Sahara Reporters false publication, as it does not represent the reason behind the officers’ dismissal by the Police Service Commission

Happy is the man who finds wisdom . . . Length of days is in her right hand, in her left hand riches and honor” (Proverbs 3:13, 16).

JOEL OSTEEN MINISTRIES
Today’s Word

Today’s Scripture
“For I will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds,” says the LORD.
Jeremiah 30:17, NKJV

Scars Are Signs
We all have wounds from our past mistakes. Maybe we got off course, gave in to temptation, did things we’re not proud of, hung around the wrong people. The enemy would love to use those failures to keep us living in regrets and guilt, focused on what we did wrong. But we can let them remind us of the grace of God and how He heals our wounds. He wants you to think about His mercy and forgiveness. Don’t try to hide the scars that remain. Those scars aren’t a sign that you’re finished; they’re a sign that you’ve been healed, forgiven, and redeemed. They’re a sign that you’re ready for action. If God was through with you, you wouldn’t still be here. There’s something for you to do. You have an assignment. Somebody needs what you have. Somebody needs your love, somebody needs your smile, somebody needs your gifts. Yes, you have scars. But the scars don’t disqualify you; the scars prepare you to help others. They’re a reminder of how God brought you through, and He’ll bring them through as well.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that You have borne our griefs and carried our sorrows and by Your stripes we are healed. Thank You that the scars tell the story of what You’ve done in my life and of Your greatness to forgive and redeem. I trust that You will use those scars to help others find healing as well. In Jesus’ Name, Amen

SECTION TWO

The Bible promises something when you have wisdom: “Happy is the man who finds wisdom . . . Length of days is in her right hand, in her left hand riches and honor” (Proverbs 3:13, 16). Unfortunately, for King Solomon, he only had the left hand of wisdom, which holds riches and honor. The Lord had said to him, “If you walk in My ways, to keep My statutes and My commandments . . . then I will lengthen your days” (1 Kings 3:14).

For Solomon, who was under the old covenant of law, the blessing of length of days was a conditional one, which he could receive only if he was able to keep the law perfectly. However, Solomon failed to do so and he did not enjoy length of days, which is in wisdom’s right hand.

Today, because we are under the new covenant of grace, Jesus is at the Father’s right hand and He is our wisdom. And when we have Jesus, we can be blessed with the two hands of wisdom because of His finished work on the cross. This means that riches and honor, as well as length of days, belong to us! What an awesome God we serve!

Beloved, pursue Jesus and you will experience wisdom in every area of your life. You cannot try to earn, deserve, or study to acquire God’s wisdom. It comes by His unmerited favor.

His wisdom will give you good success in your career. It will cause you to succeed as a student, parent, or spouse.

For instance, if you are facing some problems in your marriage, God will not just “zap” your spouse and make him or her do a moonwalk and come back to you! The same thing that drove your spouse away from you in the first place will just drive him or her away again. What you need is wisdom for your marital situation!

If you are faced with a crisis in your business, depend on the Lord for His wisdom. There are no “money problems,” only “idea problems.” Trust that the Lord will bless you with the wisdom from heaven to cause everything that you touch at your workplace to prosper. God’s wisdom always leads to promotion and good success.

LAGOS STATE SETTING THE PACE IN DEVELOPMENT AGENDA

27/01/25

DANIELS O.G

As part of it’s Themes  Agenda, The Lagos State Government Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, is making significant strides in improving the lives of its residents through transformative projects in Electricity Sector,Agriculture Healthcare, water supply, infrastructure, and transportation.

This various developmental strides were disclosed by the Commissioner for information And Strategy at a Citizens’ Engagement Forum in Alausa, Ikeja on Friday 20th Of January 2024.

Hon. Commissioner @ At The Citizens Forum Ikeja Lagos

The Honourable Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr. Gbenga Omotoso also  outlined the administration’s future plans particularly in the Health sector

He cited an example with the massive transformation ongoing at the Massey’s Children Hospital which will become a reference point for Peadiatrics Care  in the west Africa sub region.

The imminent commissioning of a new General hospital in Ojo, describing it as “the first general hospital Lagos State is building in a decade.” This facility, he said, will provide residents with access to quality medical care closer to home.

Another groundbreaking initiative is the Mental Health Institute and Psychiatric Rehabilitation Centre in Ketu-Ejirin, Epe. “This facility will be the largest of its kind in sub-Saharan Africa,” Omotoso revealed. “It will boast a 500-bed capacity, consultation rooms, living quarters, and other essential facilities, all spread across 25 hectares of land. This is a formidable attempt to address mental health, an issue often neglected in society.

Concerning The Brain Drain Challenge In the Health Sector, the Commissioner disclosed plans by the Government on training more Doctors and other Health care Professionals through the Lagos State University ( LASUCOM

In addressing the long-standing challenge of providing clean and reliable water, the Lagos State Government has partnered with Ogun State to access water from the Adiyan reservoir. “We have paid ₦600 million to Ogun State to secure 70 million gallons of water daily for Lagosians,” Omotoso stated. Despite hurdles, he assured residents that the government is making “frantic efforts” to deliver sustainable pipe-borne water to homes and businesses across the state.

Transportation is another area where the Sanwo-Olu administration is making a significant impact. Omotoso highlighted the commissioning of 15 locally built ferries, with 10 more set to launch soon. “These ferries, built by young Lagos engineers, are comparable to any in the world,” he said. “They symbolize what is possible in Nigeria and Lagos.”

Additionally, the state has completed 16 new jetties and continued progress on the Red and Blue Rail Lines. “The Red Line’s coming on board is one of the most exciting developments,” Omotoso said. “We are committed to developing all three modes of transportation: water, rail, and road.”

Road infrastructure is also receiving attention, with ongoing repairs and expansions to improve connectivity. Furthermore, the government has installed 2,000 solar-powered streetlights to enhance safety and sustainability. “When this administration came on board, we were spending ₦600 million monthly to power generators for streetlights. That was unsustainable, so we turned to solar,” Omotoso explained.

The Epe Food Logistics Hub is another transformative project poised to benefit millions of Lagosians. Omotoso described the facility as “the largest in sub-Saharan Africa,” designed to store food for up to five million people every three months. “This initiative will help stabilize food prices, especially during periods of inflation, and ensure food security for Lagosians,” he added.

Mr. Omotoso lauded the governor’s comprehensive approach to governance, emphasizing that every project is designed to improve the quality of life for Lagosians. “Governor Sanwo-Olu’s administration is focused on creating a Lagos that works for everyone,” he said.
