NATIONAL CHRISTIAN ELDERS FORUM (NCEF) ON STATE OF THE NATION,WORRY ABOUT HUNGER IN THE LAND

11/01/25

Press Release

DANIELS O.G

National Christian Elders Forum (NCEF) wishes to felicitate with Nigerians for the grace to enter another year peacefully. We thank God for His sustaining grace and mercy upon us as a country.
As we commence another year, NCEF wishes to highlight certain issues for the consideration of the Federal Government in the overall interest of Nigeria and its citizens.

*THE UNITY OF THE COUNTRY
Nigeria remains a deeply divided country with many non-state actors putting pressure on its security. While we appreciate the efforts of the military and the other security units, the matter of religious divide remains a thorny issue and religious discrimination is yet to be fully addressed by the government. In many parts of northern Nigeria, violation of citizens rights to religious belief is still common. The secularity of the Nigerian State is openly challenged by some relentless religious extremists.

NCEF is concerned that rather than promote the secularity of the country, the government acted recently to deepen the religious divide.

President Bola Tinubu

The participation of President Tinubu in the Arab-Islamic Summit in Saudi Arabia, in November 2024, is a disturbing signal misrepresenting the constitutional status of Nigeria. Section 10 of the Constitution says, “The Government of the Federation or of a State shall not adopt any religion as State Religion”. The Constitution is clear on the matter of Government and religion. President Tinubu should not have participated in the Arab-Islamic Summit because Nigeria is neither an Arab country, nor an Islamic state.

NCEF calls for caution from leaders of the country to ensure that the neutrality of the State on religious issues is not compromised. Section 10 and Section 38(1) of the Constitution are specific on this matter. The Government should not be seen as the “agent provocateur” inflaming religious crisis in the country.

*HUNGER IN THE LAND
National Christian Elders Forum is deeply orried about the hardship Nigerians are facing due to hyperinflation in the country. Several factors are responsible for the distressing condition the country is in. The main causes of the distress in the land are the dysfunctional policies of government in the past few years, the unbridled corruption amongst government officials, and the perennial attacks on farmers by religious insurgents.

The responsibility of resolving these crises lies at the doorstep of government. Section 14(2)b of the Constitution states that “the security and welfare of the people shall be the primary purpose of government:”
NCEF calls on the Federal Government to take steps to ensure the “security and welfare” of Nigerians. The masses of Nigeria are suffering.

Government should take immediate action against the extortion of money by security agents from those transporting foodstuff across the country. Various security agents mount check points on major roads all over the country demanding various levies from those transporting foodstuff. These illegal levies add to the price of foodstuff in the market. These extortion check points must be dismantled.

*THE PRICE OF FUEL
Oil is the mainstay of the Nigerian economy and any shift in its price, locally and internationally, has ripple effects on every other sector in the country. Over the years, government has claimed to subsidize local consumption of fuel. Credible reports confirm that the subsidy regime was corrupted, and some analysts believe it should be removed.

While NCEF agrees that channels of corruption should be blocked in the country, the impact of government policies on the populace should receive greater consideration. A sudden removal of fuel subsidy without any mitigating plan cannot be applauded as progressive government policy. It is akin to cutting the head to stop headache. NCEF believes that it is better to combat the corruption in the subsidy regime rather than subject the citizens to undue suffering. Developed nations of the world engage in various subsidy programs for their citizens. When former President Jonathan increased the price of fuel to N120 per litre in 2012, Nigerians came out with the slogan “Kill Corruption; Do Not Kill Nigerians”. That call is more relevant today.

The Tinubu administration removed fuel subsidy on its first day in office and the price of fuel rose from N195 per litre to N540. A few months later it rose to N617 per litre while it currently hovers around N1,000 per litre. Meanwhile, government is struggling to pay minimum wage of N70,000 per month. The minimum wage which government could not pay is what citizens are required to pay to fill the tank of their vehicles. The inflationary pressure this policy is exerting on the country is distressing.

Of equal concern to the Forum of Christian Elders is the price the locally refined fuel is sold when compared with the price of imported fuel. It seems odd that the locally refined fuel, which does not require payment of import fees, levies, and other import charges is at par with its imported counterpart. The expectation was that locally refined fuel should be much cheaper than imported fuel.

NCEF is calling on Mr. President, as the Minister of Petroleum, to look again at the pricing regime of fuel in the country. Apparently, government does not yet have a firm grip on the price of fuel. The right balance between citizens’ welfare and government policy has not yet been struck.
NCEF wishes to remind the President that the welfare of the citizens should be priority. Every policy of the government should be initiated with the singular objective of meeting the needs of the people. It is our hope that in 2025, government will review its position on the price of fuel and give the much-needed relief to Nigerians.

“The security and welfare of the people shall be the primary purpose of government:” Section 14(2)b 1999 Constitution (as amended)

God bless Nigeria.

You can’t stop negative feelings from coming, but you have a choice to not let those feelings dictate your mood.

Today’s Word

Today’s Scripture
Whoever is slow to anger is better than the mighty, and he who rules his spirit than he who takes a city.
Proverbs 16:32, ESV

Rule Your Feelings
God created us as emotional beings. At times, we may feel joy, excitement, or passion. At other times, we may feel sadness, sorrow, or discouragement. Feelings come to us all, but feelings are not facts. You wake up in the morning feeling gloomy, but then you get a cup of coffee and feel great. Feelings can change on a dime. The mistake we make is to let feelings determine our mood. We feel the blahs, then go around discouraged. We feel offended by someone and go around upset. We have a bad break and feel self-pity, then wonder why we don’t enjoy life. It’s because we’re being ruled by our feelings.

You can’t stop negative feelings from coming, but you have a choice to not let those feelings dictate your mood. You can rule over those feelings and decide what kind of mood you’re going to be in. You can choose to say, “Feelings, you are not my boss. You are not going to control my life.” Get your mind filled with the right thoughts, and the feelings will eventually follow your thoughts.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that I have the power to remain full of joy and stay in peace when circumstances and people try to take them from me. Thank You that You made this day, and I’m not going to live sour and defeated. I’ve made up my mind I’m going to rule over my moods. In Jesus’ Name, Amen

SECTION TWO

The Bible tells us that God has made us “accepted in the Beloved.” The Beloved here refers to Jesus and the word “accepted” means “given special honor” or “highly favored.”

My friend, because you have Jesus who is God’s Beloved, and you are found in Him, you are also God’s beloved son or daughter, deeply loved and highly favored by Him!

Now, because you are highly favored by God in the Beloved, you can expect to have favor with your spouse, children, colleagues, clients, and yes, even your in-laws! When you speak, people listen. When you step into a room, it lights up. Everything you touch is blessed and increased.

Beloved, as the apple of God’s eye, expect good things to happen to you each day. Expect divine protection because His favor surrounds you like a shield. Expect every need to be met by the One who highly favors you. Expect good, because you are precious in His eyes!

God Handpicked You. Now, You May Feel You Don’t Fit In, You’re Not Good Enough, You’re An Outsider. None Of That Stops God.

Today’s Scripture
You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.”
John 15:16, NIV

Strangers No More
We were strangers to God’s love. We didn’t deserve His mercy or measure up to His goodness, but the Scripture says, “Once you were far away from God, but now you have been brought near to him through the blood of Christ….You are no longer strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household” (Ephesians 2:13, 19). Jesus says that we did not choose Him, but He chose us. God handpicked you. Now, you may feel you don’t fit in, you’re not good enough, you’re an outsider. None of that stops God. He still chooses you. You are so valuable and approved that Jesus gave His life for you.

Thoughts will tell you, “You’ve made too many mistakes. You’re not qualified. You don’t come from a background of faith.” But God says, “That’s okay. You’re exactly whom I’m looking for. I choose strangers. I choose people who don’t look like you’d expect, people who don’t perform perfectly, people with flaws and weaknesses. I see what’s in you. I know your potential. It’s My choice, and I chose you.”

SECTION TWO

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that You chose me to be Yours long before I chose You. I celebrate the fact that Jesus gave His life so I would no longer be a stranger to Your family. I believe and confidently declare that makes me very valuable and approved. In Jesus’ Name, Amen. What are your eyes fixed on today? Are they focused on the darkness that is in the world? Or are they fixed on the Lord’s promises for your life?

My chief intention here is to turn your eyes away from the destruction you see every day, and to turn them to our beautiful Lord Jesus.

Do you know what Caleb’s secret to long life was? The passage above tells us that it was found in simply following the Lord. Hebron was the name for one of the cities of refuge in the Bible. In Hebrew, “Hebron” means fellowship or association. This speaks of intimacy, closeness, and connection with the Lord.

There is no formula to long life. It’s all about having an intimate relationship with Jesus. Our Lord Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. He came that we might have life and have it more abundantly. Follow Him and find the path to a long and abundant life.

Don’t forget that everything Caleb experienced was under the old covenant. His renewal of youth and unabated strength and vigor were all experienced under the old covenant. How much more should we be experiencing this renewal of youth, boundless energy, and length of days under the new covenant of grace that is established on better promises (Heb. 8:6)!

In a psalm that Moses wrote, it says, “The days of our lives are seventy years; and if by reason of strength they are eighty years” (Ps. 90:10). Some people have used this to teach that our expected lifespan is therefore between seventy and eighty years.

But it is important we interpret this psalm in the context of the children of Israel being in the wilderness and under God’s wrath. We have also seen that even under the old covenant, Caleb transcended this lifespan and was still going strong at eighty-five years old.

So dear reader—you who are under the new covenant—I encourage you to aim high. Don’t settle for living till just seventy or eighty years old, when God has promised, “With long life I will satisfy him, and show him My salvation” (Ps. 91:16, boldface mine).

Your satisfaction is the limit and according to your faith, be it unto you. I pray that as you stay close to our Lord Jesus, you will live long, live strong, and live under the protective covering of His wings.

When We Have Wisdom, All The Things We Seek Will Follow After Us.

Today’s Word

Today’s Scripture
…that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
1 Peter 1:7, NKJV

Grow Through It
We all go through things that we don’t like—a coworker gets on our nerves, a child is being difficult, a dream is taking longer than we thought. It’s easy to live frustrated, wondering why it’s not changing. But God uses difficulties, delays, and inconveniences to do a work in us. If the situation isn’t changing, maybe God is using it to change you. Don’t just go through it being upset, bitter, or offended; grow through it. That’s an opportunity to get stronger, to develop your character, to build your spiritual muscles.

We don’t grow so much in the good times. We grow in the difficult times, in the times when “the genuineness of our faith is tested by fire.” When someone does you wrong, that’s a test. God is seeing if you’re going to get bitter and try to pay them back, or if you’re going to take the high road and forgive. That’s why you face challenges. He’s refining you, getting you prepared for something greater. If you keep the right attitude, you’ll grow through it.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that You are the Most High God, and You are refining my life with fire to develop my character and help me grow stronger. Thank You that every test of my faith is preparing me to go higher and increase me. I believe that I am coming out better. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

SECTION TWO

God wants us to go after wisdom. Wisdom is the “principal thing”, He tells us. We are not to go after riches.

But when we have wisdom, all the things we seek will follow after us, including honor and length of days. So never make riches your goal!

My friend, if you lack wisdom, simply ask God for it. He will give it to you “liberally and without reproach” (James 1:5). The truth is that He has already given you wisdom when He gave you Jesus, “who became for us wisdom from God” (1 Cor. 1:30).

So if you are facing a challenge at work and you don’t know how to resolve it, say, “Jesus, You are my wisdom. I thank You that You will provide me with the best solution.” If you have a wayward child, say, “Jesus, thank You for wisdom in loving and raising this child well.”

Beloved, you are most blessed to have Jesus, in whom resides all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge!

He Has Designed Certain Things To Come To An End In Order To Move Us Into A New Level Of Our Destiny.

JOEL OSTEEN MINISTRIES
Today’s Word

Today’s Scripture
“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.”
Revelation 22:13, NLT

Necessary Endings
We all have times when things come to an end that we weren’t expecting. The company downsizes, and we’re let go. A friendship changes, and someone moves on. The door suddenly closes on a dream. It’s easy to get discouraged, but God is called “the Beginning and the End.” He has designed certain things to come to an end in order to move us into a new level of our destiny. We may not understand it, but it’s a necessary ending. Without that door closing, you wouldn’t see the greater things God has in store.

The same God who opens doors closes doors. Where you saw abundance in one season may seem like a famine in another. If you don’t understand that God has necessary endings, you’ll fight every closed door and try to hold on to things that God has brought to an end. He is “the author and the finisher.” When a door closes, take your fingers and your feelings off the door. Let it go. God never brings things to an end without having something better coming, something more rewarding, more fulfilling.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that You are the Beginning and the End, that You bring necessary endings because You are always doing something new. I believe that even now You are working in ways I don’t yet see. I declare You are the author and finisher of my faith, and I look forward to great things. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

SECTION TWO

I like how the King James Version translates Ruth 2:3: “and her hap was to light on a part of the field belonging unto Boaz” (boldface mine). The Hebrew word for “to come to” and “to light on” is qarah. And the Hebrew word for “happened” and “hap” is miqreh, which comes from the word qarah.

Incidentally, the word happy comes from the old English word “hap,” which is why when happenings happen the way you want them to happen, you are happy!

I don’t know how many times I have heard testimonies from people who happened to meet an old friend in need and were able to minister to the friend, or who happened to have been delayed or who happened to change their original plans and, because of that, were protected from danger.

My friend, none of those things happened by accident or coincidence. It was the Lord giving them eth and qarah—putting them at the right place at the right time!

This is reflected in a praise report from Sandy, who lives in Singapore.

Before I drive, I always make it a point to pray for protection. On March 31, I prayed as usual before I started driving toward the city.

I got stuck in heavy traffic and the cars were inching forward toward a major traffic junction. Like many motorists, I got impatient and was disappointed when the traffic light turned red just as I was approaching the junction. Then, I heard a strange sound of something cracking, and I was shocked as a huge old tree fell and hit the roof of the car right in front of me, creating a huge dent in its roof and shattering the rear windscreen.

By God’s grace, the driver of the car emerged unscathed. Needless to say, I was very grateful to God when I realized that He had placed me at the right place at the right time so that I wasn’t hurt.

I am very thankful to Jesus for His divine protection. Without His wings of protection over me, I may not even be alive today. Thank You, Jesus!

Even with something as mundane as driving on the road, which many of us do every day, we need to make it a point to pray for the Lord’s protection. Let’s not put our trust in our daily routines, our skills, or our limited ability to foresee danger. Our trust must be in the Lord’s protection.

I Will Build My Altars And Remember Your Goodness.

Today’s Word

Today’s Scripture
Jacob built an altar there and named the place El-bethel (which means “God of Bethel”), because God had appeared to him there when he was fleeing from his brother, Esau.
Genesis 35:7, NLT

Built Any Altars Lately?
As Jacob did in today’s Scripture, we can all look back in life and see times when God made a way. We knew it was His hand that protected us from a car crash, promoted us when we didn’t deserve it, brought us through a loss. Those weren’t just coincidences. In the Old Testament, when these things happened, people took time to build an altar to thank God for what He had done. They would look back at those altars, and that was fuel for their faith. They knew that if He did it back then, He would do it again.

We should still be building altars today. It’s easy to get so busy that we don’t recognize the blessing of God. But when you take time to acknowledge what God has done, you recognize He brought you safely through a sickness, gave you that person to love, opened a door that’s taken you further than you ever imagined. When you pause to say, “God, I recognize this is Your goodness. Thank You for Your favor and mercy,” that’s building an altar.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You for the strength that rises within me whenever I remember what You have done in my life. Thank You for the countless times You made a way when it seemed there was no way and You opened doors that seemed closed. I will build my altars and remember Your goodness. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Jesus was the apple of God’s eye. He was God’s darling Son, His infinite joy and delight.

Yet, God gave Jesus up for you. That’s how much God loves you.

Just think about it: If you knew you could save a dying person by giving up something precious to you,000⁰

B would you go as far as to give up your only child whom you dearly love for that person?

Yet, that is exactly what God did to save you. Jesus, His beloved Son, died on the cross to cleanse you, heal you, and redeem you—spirit, soul, and body! That is how precious you are to God!

His Unmerited Favor Will Transform You Into Wholeness

GOSPEL CORNER

06/01/25

Do you believe that Jesus is interested in your success?

Take a moment to the to reflect on this.

My friend, I want you to know that Jesus delights in blessing you. It is His good pleasure to see you blessed in every area of your life!

Now, don’t put a limit on His blessings in your life. The blessings of the Lord are not (as some may erroneously believe) just seen in material things.

Jesus is infinitely interested in your total well-being. He is interested in your family, career, fulfillment in life, marriage, ministry, and boy, does the list go on!

When it comes to your desires, hopes, and dreams, there is no detail that is too minuscule, minute, or insignificant for Jesus. Trust me, if it matters to you, it matters to Him!

Even if you go to Him in prayer to remove that small pimple on your nose, He is not going to look at you and reply mockingly, “Hey buddy, don’t you know that I’ve got a whole universe to run? Come to Me when you have a bigger prayer request.”

No way! A thousand times no! Jesus will never ridicule or deride your concerns as petty. He is never dismissive or condescending. He is not like some of your so-called “friends,” who may delight in poking fun at your shortcomings. If it bothers you, it “bothers” Him.

You are important to Jesus. Know with full assurance in your heart that Jesus knows you perfectly, and yet accepts and loves you perfectly. When you begin to understand that, you will realize that it is truly that unmerited favor, that favor from Jesus that you know you do not deserve, did not merit, and cannot earn for yourself, that will perfect every imperfection and weakness in your life.

If you are facing challenges, such as lack in any area, addictions, fears, sicknesses, or broken relationships, Jesus’ unmerited favor will protect, deliver, prosper, bring restoration to, and provide for you. His unmerited favor will transform you into wholeness, and it is the goodness of God, not your striving and self-efforts, that will lead you to live victoriously for His glory.

Success Is Not What You Have, But Rather Who You Have! Joseph literally Had Nothing Materially, But At The Same Time, He Had Everything Because The Lord Was With Him.

05/01/24

Gospel Corner

Would you consider the young man Joseph, who was about to be sold into slavery, “a successful man”?

Of course not!

Yet, God says in His own words that Joseph was a successful man.

God’s definition of success is contrary to the world’s definition. Corporate America measures success based on what you have done, what you have accomplished, and what you have accumulated. It is based entirely on you focusing all your time, energy, and resources in meriting titles and collecting accomplishments.

My friend, I want to encourage you to begin to see that the world’s model of success is unstable and built upon a foundation that is shakable. It may have the appearance of the good life, but it is temporal, and we have all seen for ourselves how the world’s transient wealth can dissipate like smoke and easily slip away like the shifting sands in the desert.

From Genesis 39:2, it is clear that success is not what you have, but rather who you have! Joseph literally had nothing materially, but at the same time, he had everything because the Lord was with him.

The material things that you have accumulated or are feverishly trying to amass do not make you a success. It is the presence of the Lord in your life that makes you a success!

We need to learn to stop pursuing things and to start pursuing Him. God sees your relationship with Him as the only thing that you need for every success in your life.

I can’t imagine starting in a worse place than Joseph. He was completely naked. He had nothing! No bank accounts, no educational qualifications, no natural connections with people of influence, nothing.

Thank God the Bible records a picture of Joseph who began with nothing, so that you and I can have hope today. If you think that like Joseph, you have nothing, well, you can start believing in the power of the presence of the Lord in your life. Start looking to Jesus and claim that promise in that scripture for yourself!

Say, “The Lord is with ME, and I am a successful person.”

Say it a hundred times if you have to, and begin to see this as your reality. Stick this promise on your mirror, and every morning when you brush your teeth, remind yourself that today, as you go to work, as you go to school, as you start the day caring for your children at home (or do whatever it is that you need to do), the Lord is with you.

And because He is with you, YOU ARE ALREADY A SUCCESS! When you have Jesus in your life, you are no longer trying to be a success; you ARE a success!

Today’s Scripture
And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.
Galatians 6:9, NKJV

Your Due Season Year
You have things that you’ve been believing for, dreams you want to accomplish, problems that you’re hoping will turn around. Why not believe that you are coming into a due season year when you’re going to see God show out in your life? In this due season year, God is going to cause promises you’ve been standing on and dreams you’ve been praying about to fall into place. In this due season, He’s going to make things happen that you could never make happen on your own.

You may have been trying to break an addiction for years. The good news is, this is your due season. This is your year to be free. Maybe you’ve struggled in your finances and can’t seem to get ahead. Let this sink down into your spirit: Due season is here. Promotion is coming, increase is coming, good breaks are coming. Lack is not your destiny. Constantly struggling, not having enough, that’s not the end of your story. Keep being faithful, keep honoring God. Abundance is on the way. In this due season, your cup is going to overflow.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You for the promise that I will reap a harvest as long as I keep doing what’s right and not lose heart. Thank You that You are working behind the scenes in ways that I could never imagine. I will trust in You whether I’m seeing any signs or not, knowing that it’s my due season year. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

SECTION TWO

Do you remember the parable of the lost sheep Jesus told in Luke 15? When the shepherd found the lost sheep, he lifted it up and laid it upon his strong shoulders. What did the sheep do? Nothing. It just consented to be rescued by the shepherd.

Jesus calls this consent on the part of the sheep “repentance”—”there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance” (Luke 15:7, boldface mine).

That is what God invites us to do today—to consent to be protected. He wants us to be on His shoulders, in the safety of Himself as our impenetrable fortress. In this place, no predator can attack His sheep.

On His shoulders, you are highly exalted above all your troubles, above all danger, all attacks, and far above all principalities and powers. Yes, far above Satan, above all the powers of darkness and the snare of the fowler. On His shoulders, you are far above every sickness, disease, and every name that is named. What a great place to be!

And does the Lord do this grudgingly? Absolutely not. The Bible tells us that the shepherd lays the sheep on his shoulders “rejoicing” (Luke 15:5). Our Lord rescues us with great joy in His heart and a big smile on His face.

Beloved, the safest place you can be today is on His shoulders. Jesus is your city of refuge. In your day of trouble, run to Him!

I pray you’ll anchor your heart on the wonderful verse that encapsulates this: “The beloved of the Lord shall dwell in safety by Him, who shelters him all the day long; and he shall dwell between His shoulders” (Deut. 33:12).

When you make the Lord your refuge and dwelling place, you shall dwell safely in Him and no evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling!

What you’re up against may be big, but it’s no match for you. The same power that raised Christ from the dead lives in you.

Today’s Scripture
Solomon son of David took firm control of his kingdom, for the LORD his God was with him and made him very powerful.
2 Chronicles 1:1, NLT

You Are Very Powerful.
At the start of this new year, you may be facing situations that look too big. The opposition is too strong, the dream too great. It’s easy to have a weak mentality, to feel intimidated, as though you’re at a disadvantage. This is probably the way Solomon felt when his father, David, died. David was an amazing leader who had conquered nations and defeated giants. Solomon wasn’t a warrior king like his father, but he was suddenly thrust into this position. I’m sure he was tempted to shrink back and think, “This is too much. I can’t lead a nation.” But today’s Scripture says that he took firm control of the kingdom, for the Lord was with him and made him very powerful.

You may see yourself as limited, not enough, less-than, but the Lord your God is with you. He has made you not just powerful, but very powerful. What you’re up against may be big, but it’s no match for you. The same power that raised Christ from the dead lives in you. You’re not ordinary. You’re not common. You are very powerful.

A Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that every force of the enemy was broken when Jesus rose from the dead. Thank You that You have given me Your power and that there will be no situation in this coming year that is too big or opposition too strong. I declare that You have made me very powerful. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

SECTION TWO

In the healing of the woman with the issue of blood, you could say that the woman sneaked up behind Jesus and “stole” her healing! But was Jesus offended? Not at all! In fact, He was so pleased with her boldness that He just had to meet her.

Jesus did not seek her out to rebuke her. No, He sought her out so that He could affirm her with His love and assure her that He wasn’t angry with her for having taken a portion of healing virtue from Him. That’s why He even called her “daughter” and encouraged her to walk in her healing—”Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction.”

Beloved, that’s the heart of your Savior. He freely gives out His healing virtue to anyone who will take it from Him. So reach out and take from Him right now and bring pleasure to His heart!
