Today, because of the cross, you are under the new covenant of grace. Now, what does the new covenant hinge on? Beloved, God is so good. The new covenant that God has made is not dependent on anything that you and I must do because He knows that we will always fail.
Listen carefully. The new covenant works because of one thing only, and it is the last clause of the new covenant—”For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.” To the measure that you have a revelation of this clause and all its blessings, to that measure you will walk in it.
“No more” means that there was a time God remembered our sins, even to punish them to the third and fourth generations (Exod. 20:5). This is found in the Ten Commandments
.
However, today, God says emphatically, “No more!” (It is the double negative that is used in the Greek.) “No more” means that God will never again remember our sins against us because He remembered (to punish) all our sins in the body of His Son.
Jesus bore God’s punishment of our sins on the cross. Now, we can walk in the new covenant and hear God say, “Your sins and lawless deeds I remember no more.”
My friend, the new covenant works because of the last clause. In other words, because of Hebrews 8:12, God can put His laws in our minds and write them on our hearts, and all of us can know Him and be led by Him. It is His mercy toward us that enables us to hear Him and be led by Him to victory in every situation!
Romans 8:31 contains a powerful rhetorical question and I encourage you to memorize it. Unfortunately, there are still some believers today wondering, “Is God really for me?”
Well, my friend, the Word of God does NOT say “maybe God is for us” or “hopefully, God is for us.” It simply says, “If God is for us, who can be against us?”
Indeed, when God is for you, what opposition can succeed against you? When God Himself fights for you, defends you and vindicates you, what adversity or adversary can stand against you? There are none! Hallelujah!
“But Pastor Prince, how did God come to be on our side? Even though I am a Christian today, I still fail and fall short of God’s holy standards. I still lose my temper on the road now and then, and from time to time, I still get angry with my wife and kids. Why should God be on my side when I fail? Don’t you know that God’s holy?”
All great questions. Let me tell you why God is on our side. The answer is found at the cross. The blood that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, shed on the cross put God on your side. Today, God can be for you even when you fail because Jesus’ blood has washed you whiter than snow!
Have you seen Cecil DeMille’s movie, The Ten Commandments, or the animation, The Prince Of Egypt? Do you remember what happened on the night of the Passover?
The children of Israel put the blood of the lamb on their doorposts. What did the blood do? The blood put God on their side! None of the families who had applied blood on their doorposts had to fear the death of their firstborn children.
Now, think about this for a moment. Were the firstborn children of Israel spared that night because of their perfect behavior and conduct, or were they spared because of the blood of the lamb? Of course, it was because of the blood of the lamb!
In the same way, God does not bless you, as a new covenant believer, based on your perfect behavior and conduct. He is for you today because of the blood of the perfect Lamb—Jesus Christ.
He Paid Your Debt
That is why as believers today, we don’t have to fight for ourselves. I like to say it this way: “If God is for us, who can come successfully against us?”
Always remember that God is on your side today because of Jesus’ blood. His holiness and righteousness that men are afraid of are now on your side because of Jesus’ blood. His unmerited favor is on your side and all of heaven’s resources are yours because of Jesus’ blood!
Now, who can come successfully against you? No sickness, no disease, no creditor, no evil accusation, no gossip—no weapon formed against you, can come successfully against you (Isa. 54:17)!
Today’s Scripture “Every woman will ask for jewels, silver, gold, and the finest of clothes from her Egyptian master’s wife and neighbors. You will clothe your sons and daughters with the best of Egypt!” Exodus 3:22, TLB
A TRANSFER IS COMING When God delivered the Israelites out of slavery, Egypt had more wealth and affluence than any other country. As the Israelites were leaving Egypt, they didn’t leave empty-handed. A transfer took place. The Egyptians had oppressed them for years, forced them to work without pay and in unfair conditions. While their oppressors lived in nice homes with whatever they needed, the Israelites had suffered lack, not having enough. But the time came when God said, “I’m going to take from those who are not using their resources for the right purposes and transfer them into the hands of My people.” The Israelites went into the desert loaded down with the wealth from their oppressors.
God knows how to transfer resources, influence, and abundance. You may be in a situation that looks as though you’re stuck, you’re at a disadvantage, you’re not being treated right. My encouragement is to stay in peace. Keep doing the right thing. A transfer is coming. God knows how to make it up to you. He has good breaks that will suddenly shift things in your favor.
A Prayer For Today “Father, thank You that You are a God of justice and You keep the records. Thank You that the time comes when You say that enough is enough, that it’s payback time. I believe that things are about to shift in my favor and that a transfer is on the way. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
SECTION TWO
If you were a parent, wouldn’t you want the best for your children? Would you ever want them to be diseased, poor, and suffering? Of course not. You’d want your children to be blessed, strong, and healthy, and enjoying the best things in life, wouldn’t you?
Think about this for a moment. If you on earth know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more your Father in heaven who loves you and knows how to bless you and your children with divine health, provision, and protection!
Beloved, expect to receive good from the Lord, who is full of grace and mercy, every day!
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it. Hebrews 12:11, NIV
THE COMING HARVEST Being disciplined is not easy. It’s difficult to walk away when someone is rude, to not give in to a temptation, or to get up early to excel at work. Your flesh wants to be comfortable. Your flesh wants the easy way out, but you can’t be comfortable all the time and reach your destiny. If you do the hard thing now, later on you’ll see blessings and favor that you’ve never seen. But the flesh always wants instant gratification. “If I tell this person off right now, it will feel so good. Even though I can’t afford this item, I want it now.” But it’s important to think about later on. We should be growing, being more mature than we were five years ago. If I’m still dealing with my temper the same way as years ago, still getting offended, upset, and jealous, I’m letting the flesh dictate my life. To be disciplined can save your marriage, take you to a new level in your career, break mediocrity, and launch you into abundance.
A PRAYER FOR TODAY “Father, thank You that You are working in me and giving me the desire to obey You. Thank You that whether I feel like it or not, I have the power to overcome and be disciplined to do the right thing. I believe that a harvest of righteousness is coming as I stay true to You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
SECTION TWO
There is no doubt that all believers want to experience God’s unmerited favor in their lives. All of us want to experience success in our marriages, families, careers, as well as ministries.
We all want to enjoy God’s best and richest blessings. We want His provision, health, and power flowing mightily in our lives, and we know that all these blessings are wrapped up in God’s unmerited favor.
When His unmerited favor is on your side, nothing can stand against you. But if His favor is unmerited, how can we qualify for it? If we cannot earn, deserve, or merit it, how can we be confident that we have His unmerited favor?
One of the key things that I desire to do is to build upon the existing teachings on favor and to give believers a firm foundation on why they have the right to God’s unmerited favor in their lives today. Do you know the answers to the following questions?
Why can you expect good to happen to you?
Why can you enjoy God’s unmerited favor?
Why can you ask God for big things?
Beloved, your answers are all found on the Mount of Golgotha, the place of the skull. It’s the place where the sinless Man became sin, so that you and I can become the righteousness of God in Him. His righteousness is your right to God’s unmerited favor.
You can expect good . . .
You can enjoy God’s unmerited favor . . .
You can ask God for big things . . .
. . . because you have been made the righteousness of God through Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross!
Don’t just take my word for it. Look at 2 Corinthians 5:21 again: “For He [God] made Him [Jesus Christ] who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him [Jesus Christ].”
Your righteousness in Christ is the sure foundation on which you can build your expectations to receive God’s unmerited favor. God sees you through the lens of the cross of His Son, and as Jesus is today deserving of blessings, peace, health, and favor, so are you (1 John 4:17)!
Today’s Scripture “But let him who boasts boast in this, that he understands and knows me, that I am the LORD who practices steadfast love, justice, and righteousness in the earth.” Jeremiah 9:24, ESV
TAKE POSSESSION When you know your God and understand what He’s done, that He’s already defeated the enemy, that He’s taken away his power, you’ll be strong. You won’t be moved by opposition, you won’t fall apart when trouble comes, you won’t give up because somebody did you wrong. You know it can’t stop your purpose. You’ll not only have a supernatural strength, but you’ll do great exploits. You’ll take your family to a new level, break addictions that have held you back, and accomplish dreams that are bigger than you’ve imagined. Have the right perspective: Whatever enemies you face—enemies of fear, depression, sickness, or insecurity—havealready been defeated.
Your Tomorrow Is Greater
Now, do what the Father requires. Move forward. Believe for your healing, speak victory over your children, stir up your gifts, pray some bold prayers, take steps of faith. What’s trying to stop you is defeated. The people who were holding you back have lost their influence. The power of the sickness, the addiction, or the trouble at work has been broken. It’s time to take possession of what God promised you.
A Prayer for Today “Father, thank You that whatever has tried to stop my purpose in the past has lost its grip because Your Son defeated the enemy on the cross and has brought me into freedom. Thank You that I can move forward. I declare that I will take possession of all that You have promised me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
SECTION TWO Beloved, there may be a devil out there who tries to drag you down in defeat, but the Bible tells us clearly that we have One greater than he inside of us. It is important that you be established in this truth.
You don’t have to be afraid of the devil, because Jesus, who is in you, is greater than the devil in this world. No matter what the enemy’s evil tactics are, he will not prevail against you in this battle. The devil is a defeated foe.
Greater is He who is in you than all the negative thoughts the enemy can throw at you. Greater is He who is in you than the feelings of guilt and inadequacy. Greater is He who is in you than every accusation that is leveled against you.
Stand strong on this declaration: “No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn” (Isa. 54:17). Wow! No weapon formed against you shall prosper.
The Bible doesn’t say that you will not experience any challenges or be faced with any attacks. But it does promise that you can be confident in the certainty that they shall not prosper against you.
Do you know why you can stand firm on this promise today? In the very same verse, God goes on to declare that “This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is from Me” (Isa. 54:17).
This protection is your heritage. God does not protect you because of your right doing; He protects you because your righteousness is from the Lord Himself!
Notice that the weapon that is against you could have already been formed, which means that it may already have been conceived, prepared, and aimed at you. Don’t be afraid. Whatever this weapon or challenge may be, know beyond any doubt that it shall not prevail against you.
This is God’s promise to you today—no weapon formed against you shall prosper. Not because your behavior is perfect, but because your standing in Christ is perfect. Your victory is firmly secured through Jesus’ finished work, which is your heritage in Christ.
Today’s Scripture And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. Romans 8:28, NLT
TURN IT AROUND When someone betrays you or lies about you and damages your reputation, it can feel like they’ve ruined your life. It’s okay to feel hurt, to feel wronged, to feel violated. God made us with feelings. But if you’re going to see God pay you back for the wrongs, you have to rule over those feelings. You have to get your passion back and start moving forward. If you use it as an excuse to stay hurt, it will keep you from your purpose. On the other side of the excuse is a new level of your destiny. The bad break, the injustice, or the loss did not stop God’s plan for your life. It wasn’t your fault that you got hurt, but it is your responsibility to move forward in faith, knowing that God is working all things for your good. It may not have been good, but God knows how to turn what was unfair and hurtful for your good. He’s not going to leave your life in a broken place, in a damaged place, in an unjust place.
A Prayer for Today “Father, thank You for Your promise that You make all things work together for my good, even what doesn’t seem good at the time. Help me to remember that You always use the hurts and difficulties to prepare me for greater things. I know that You will never leave me in a broken, damaged place. In Jesus’ Name, Amen
SECTION TWO WLELW
There’s a beautiful picture hidden in verse 4 of Psalm 91. It’s a picture of a mother hen protecting her chicks.
The Scriptures above record how the Lord Jesus looked at Jerusalem and lamented over it. Later, Jesus wept over Jerusalem, saying, “For days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment around you, surround you and close you in on every side, and level you, and your children within you, to the ground; and they will not leave in you one stone upon another, because you did not know the time of your visitation” (Luke 19:43–44). The Greek word for “wept” in verse 41 is klaio, and it means to be so affected emotionally as to sob and wail aloud.
Can you see the Lord’s tender mercies toward Israel as He shed much tears over her? He wished that He could gather Israel under His feathers as a mother hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but the Lord could not force His protection on them because they rejected Him.
I believe that as our Lord wept, He foresaw not only the Roman siege of Jerusalem, when the temple was burned to the ground and many of the Jews killed or sold as slaves, but He also foresaw the horrors of the Holocaust.
Notice that the Lord said, “But you were not willing!” This clearly tells us that the Lord will not force on us His protection if we are not willing to come under His wings.
Beloved, are you willing to have the Lord Jesus protect you and your family today? Then tell Him. Let’s never take our Lord’s protection for granted. Instead, let’s take time daily to let Him know that we are putting our trust in Him for His covering and protection.
Do you want to know what happens when you do that? Look at what Boaz said to Ruth: “The LORD repay your work, and a full reward be given you by the LORD God of Israel, under whose wings you have come for refuge” (Ruth 2:12).
Wow! It was already a privilege for this Moabite outcast, who was disqualified by the law, to find refuge under the wings of the God of Israel. But God even rewarded her for doing so.
In the same way, it is a privilege for us to be able to take refuge under His wings. Yet when we tell the Lord that we need Him and want His refuge, He gives us a full reward for trusting Him and for coming under His wings. What a God!
Today’s Scripture But God made the earth by his power; he founded the world by his wisdom and stretched out the heavens by his understanding. Jeremiah 10:12, NIV
BEYOND OUR UNDERSTANDING The book of Genesis tells about how God created the heavens and the Earth. On the first day, He said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. What’s interesting is that there was light on the first day, but He didn’t make the sun until the fourth day. How can you have light without the sun? God is showing us that He’s not limited to our logic. He’s supernatural. He’s going to do things in your life that are unexplainable, things that go beyond human reasoning. That’s the God we serve. He does things that are uncommon, unusual, out of the ordinary.
Do you think that God is intimidated by the size of your problem? Does He lose sleep when someone comes against you? During the night, one angel in the Old Testament defeated 185,000 of the enemies of Israel. God being for you is more than the world being against you. You may have some big obstacles, but you have to remind yourself that we serve a big God who works beyond our understanding.
A PRAYER FOR TODAY “Father, thank You that You are in no way limited to what I understand is logical and explainable. Thank You that Your supernatural ways go well beyond my human understanding. Help me to remind myself that I am serving a big God who defies the odds. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
SECTION TWO
Paul did not lay his hands on the crippled man at Lystra to heal him. The faith to be healed came from just listening to Paul preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, and when he simply responded to the apostle’s command to stand up, he was healed.
While what Paul preached to the man was not recorded for us, we do have one of Paul’s sermons recorded word for word for us by the Holy Spirit in the preceding chapter (Acts 13:16–41). And the highlight or climax of that sermon is found in today’s Scripture.
Now, listen carefully to this: the power of the gospel that Paul preached to the crippled man is found in the forgiveness of all your sins for “everyone who believes.” There is no other qualification for being forgiven of all your sins.
The old covenant was based on justification by works (obedience to the Ten Commandments). You had to perform to be forgiven. But the new covenant of grace is based entirely on justification by faith (believing in Jesus Christ). Can you see the radical difference?
The demand is no longer on you, but on Christ. This is the good news: all who believe in Jesus receive the forgiveness of all their sins and are justified from all things! Good news? Hallelujah! There is no better news than this!
We have experienced this time and again in our church services. As people are sitting in the service and hearing the gospel of grace and Jesus’ finished work being preached, healing miracles break forth!
This has happened not just in our church services, but also in other places. One of my dear friends, Marcel Gaasenbeek, shared with me a wonderful healing miracle that took place in his car as he was driving to Romania with a few friends.
Marcel is a pastor of a dynamic grace church in Holland, and on this particular day, he was on his way to Romania for a preaching engagement. He was listening to one of my sermons in his car, something that he did often.
Lulled by the monotony of the long drive, one of Marcel’s friends dozed off in the backseat. This friend had been involved in a jet ski accident some years ago, and since then he often suffered sharp pains in his back.
Somehow, through the fog of sleep, he heard me preach this: “Jesus has already healed you and the devil is the one giving you lying symptoms in your body.” He said “Amen!” in his heart, agreeing that Jesus had already healed him by taking his sin and bearing his sicknesses and pains on the cross.
At that moment, he felt the power of God go through him, and he was completely healed! All the pain in his back was gone!
That’s the power of hearing and hearing the gospel of Jesus. That’s how faith comes! The more of Jesus you hear, the more of His grace you receive. The more revelation you get of His finished work, the more you will receive an impartation of faith for any situation, even the seemingly impossible ones!
When the Almighty God is your loving Father and you are His beloved, what fears can you have? Fear of the future? Fear of sickness? Fear of death?
Beloved, when you have a revelation of how much God loves you and that He sees you completely righteous by the blood of Jesus Christ, all your fears will dissipate, for if God is for you, who or what can be against you? What sickness can come against you and successfully bring you down?
So look away from your circumstances and call out without fear to your Father. He loves you and will never condemn you! Feed on His everlasting love for you and receive your healing from Him!

The National Agency for Food drugs Administration and Control has appealed to Public to report any suspicious activity of illegal producers of adulterated products or similar activities to the nearest NAFDAC office nationwide.
This is following the arrest of a fake drink manufacturing syndicate in Badagry area of Lagos State
The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control NAFDAC smashed the illegal activities of a manufacturer of alcohol drinks aided by intelligence from the Nigerian Army’s 15 Field Engineering Regiment in Badagry, dismantled the operations of Mr. Chinedu Okafor, an illegal drinks manufacturer operating from his residence at No. 24, MTN Road, Badagry.
Mr. Okafor’s suspicious activities caught the attention of the Nigerian Army, leading to his arrest and subsequent handover to NAFDAC officers at the Ports Inspection Directorate, Seme Border. Upon inspection, officers evacuated all equipment and materials used in the production of illicit drinks, and effectively shut down the illegal factory.
Investigations revealed that Mr. Okafor’s longstanding involvement in this criminal activity, which has potentially compromised regulated alcohol drinks in the Badagry area. NAFDAC emphasizes the need for public vigilance and urges citizens to report suspicious activities to safeguard public health. Mr. Okafor will face prosecution, and all offending products will be destroyed, with an estimated value exceeding fifty million naira (₦50,000,000).
Drinking adulterated alcohol can cause nausea and vomiting, abdominal pain, drowsiness, and dizziness, blue tinged or pale skin, irregular or slow breathing, low body temperature, unconsciousness or passing out. It can also lead to kidney and liver failure or even DEATH.
Methanol, a substance which can be used in fake vodka, may cause permanent blindness. WHO, in their Global Status Report on Alcohol and Health estimated that more than three million people died all over the world as a result of alcohol poisoning. Furthermore, International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) ascertained that one of every 10 cancer cases in Nigeria can be traced to Alcohol and 4.7 percent of overall cancer cases in Nigeria in 2019 can be attributed to consumption of adulterated alcohol. While urging Nigerians to remain vigilant, the agency is also tasking consumers to always scrutinize branded drinks to distinguish them from counterfeits before consuming them. NAFDAC wishes to advise that members of the public should shine their eyes and think about the 4 Ps before buying of alcohol: Place: Only buy only NAFDAC registered drinks from reputable and licenced retailers, bars and supermarkets.
Price: If the product is being sold well below its normal price, or doesnt seem to include normal taxes on liquors, then it is probably fake. Packaging: Check for poor quality packaging, spelling mistakes and unusually shaped bottles. Look for the contact information and address of the manufacturer. If it is missing, the alcohol is fake. Inspect the seal on the bottle. If the seal is broken or damaged, then the contents might have been interfered with and are not safe to drink. Check for fake bar codes. If you have an app on your mobile that scans bar codes, scan it and see if its listed as the correct product.
Product: Beware of bad smells! If it smells like paint stripper or nail polish remover, then it probably is! The DG, Prof Mojisola Adeyeye reiterated that NAFDAC will continue to ensure that the level of counterfeit products nationwide is brought to the nearest minimum so that our people will continue to consume only healthy and safe products.
