GOSPEL CORNER : GOD’S WORD IS LIKE A MIRROR. IT REFLECTS WHO YOU REALLY ARE.

TODAY’S WORD

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
If someone listens to God’s word but doesn’t do what it says, he is like a person who looks at his face in a mirror, studies his features, goes away, and immediately forgets what he looks like.
James 1:23–24, GW

The Right Mirror
James says that God’s Word is like a mirror. It reflects who you really are. What God says about you is the true image that you need to keep in front of you. You are not defined by people, by your past, by how you were raised, or by what didn’t work out. You are defined by your Creator. When you look in the mirror of God’s Word, you’ll see that you are valuable, talented, confident, favored, blessed, and worthy. You have to see it on the inside before it will happen on the outside. You have to start seeing yourself as whole, as free, as forgiven and clean, as redeemed and restored. Start seeing yourself as blessed, prosperous, crowned with favor, one of a kind. As you see yourself as God sees you, it begins to heal a damaged self-image, to repair the hurts and scars that have caused you to see yourself as lacking, inferior, unqualified. It may not happen overnight, but if you keep seeing yourself the right way, little by little you’re going to become what you’re seeing.

A PRAYER FOR TODAY
“Father, thank You that You have made me the way I am and that what You say about me is my true image. Thank You that Your Word defines me rather than what other people say about me or what has happened in my past. I declare that I am becoming more and more like who You say I am. In Jesus’ Name, Amen

SECTION TWO

Let me share with you how Megan, a precious lady from Minnesota, confronted her fears by speaking the Word of God for the area of her need and saw the power of God released in her situation. I’ll let her tell you her story:

I was diagnosed with throat and neck cancer. After a series of treatments, I recovered and tests showed that there was no more cancer. However, two years later, the doctors found a mass in my throat again.

At that time, I’d begun watching Joseph Prince on television. He shared a testimony of a woman who had taken hold of 1 John 4:17—”as He is, so are we in this world”—for herself and ended up not needing to have any surgery.

So I took hold of this Scripture for myself as well. My first thought after hearing the doctor’s diagnosis was, “As Jesus is, so am I in this world. Since He does not have cancer, then neither do I.”

Fear tried to enter my thoughts over the next several days, but I believed and kept declaring 1 John 4:17 as I was being told that I might have cancer again. I was advised to have a biopsy done and was also told that a bilateral tonsillectomy, a procedure to remove the tonsils, would be needed.

As I was being prepped for surgery, I was asked if there was anything I wanted to say. I said, “Yes. When the doctor comes in to do the surgery, she will say that the surgery is not needed and there is no cancer.”

And that was exactly what happened! The tonsillectomy was canceled because the biopsy showed that I did not have cancer! When told the good news, I smiled and said, “Thank You, Jesus!”

I have your book, 100 Days of Favor, which has a page that teaches on 1 John 4:17. I keep a bookmark on that page and read it often.

I am continually being set free by the gospel of grace. Thank you, Pastor Prince!

Praise the Lord—what an awesome testimony of the power of the written Word released through our mouths! Beloved, what the Lord did for Megan, He can and will do for you too!

TODAY’S WORD

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the LORD God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the LORD God among the trees of the garden. But the LORD God called to the man, “Where are you?”
Genesis 3:8–9, NIV

WHERE ARE YOU?
Before Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit in the Garden of Eden, they were happy, confident, and secure. They knew God loved them. They walked with God, talked with God, and enjoyed being in His presence. But when they disobeyed, the condemnation came, the accusing voice that brought fear and intimidation. The first thing they did was run and hide. They had to get out of God’s presence. They believed the lie that they wouldn’t be gladly welcomed anymore. God came and said, “Adam, where are you?” It wasn’t so much about his location; it was about his frame of mind, about the shame and guilt.

Perhaps you have disobeyed what you know God says, you’re not where you want to be, and you don’t feel worthy or deserving of God’s goodness. Now, as with Adam, you’re hiding. God is saying, “Where are you? I long to be with you. I have forgiveness for your wrongs. I have washed away your sins. Come out of hiding, come out of unworthiness, come out of condemnation, and receive My glad welcome.”

A PRAYER FOR TODAY
“Father, thank You that You didn’t create me to hide my sins and weaknesses or hide from You. Thank You that I can come to You and unload all the condemnation and fear and feelings of unworthiness. I believe that You have washed away my sins and are pouring out Your goodness upon me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

SECTION TWO

Did you know that God sees grace (unmerited favor) and truth as one and the same thing? Notice in John 1:17 that truth is on the same side as God’s unmerited favor and both grace (unmerited favor) and truth came through Jesus Christ.

When I did a study of this verse in its original Greek, I found out that “grace and truth” are actually referred to as a singular unit, since they are followed by the singular verb translated as “came.” In other words, in God’s eyes, grace and truth are synonymous—unmerited favor is truth and truth is unmerited favor.

Sometimes, people tell me things like, “Well, it’s good that you preach grace, but we also have to tell people about truth.” This makes it seem as though grace and truth are two different things when, in fact, they are one and the same. You cannot separate truth from grace and grace from truth as they are both embodied in the person of Jesus Christ.

In fact, just a few verses before this, John 1:14, referring to the person of Jesus, says, “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace [unmerited favor] and truth.”

Grace and truth came together through the person and ministry of Jesus. Grace is not a doctrine or teaching. Grace is a Person.

This is contrasted with the old covenant of law that was given through Moses on Mount Sinai. We can see that God is very precise in dealing with the two covenants and does not mix them together.

Grace is grace and law is law. Grace came by Jesus whereas the law was given through Moses.

Jesus didn’t come to give us more laws. He came to give us His unmerited favor, which is His truth! It would be of immense profit to you to keep in mind that every time you read the word “grace” in the Bible, you translate it mentally as “unmerited favor,” because that is what it is.

My friend, “grace came.” It is one thing to give, but it is another thing to come. You see, I could send a DVD of my sermon to you instead of coming to you. But if I come to you, it’s personal.

The law was given by Moses, but grace came by Jesus Christ. Every system of morality is about man trying to reach God with his discipline and good works, but in Christianity, God came down to where we were to lift us up to where He is!

GOSPEL CORNER: THE MORE OF JESUS AND HIS LOVE YOU HEAR, THE MORE FAITH RISES IN YOUR HEART.

06/05/24

Have you ever felt like you needed more faith? Have your ever looked at yourself and told yourself that if you just had more faith, you would see your financial breakthrough or healing?

My friend, I have good news for you today: faith is not a struggle. The Scriptures show us that the hearing of faith and the works of the law are total opposites (Gal. 3:2, 5). And since the works of the law are about our self-efforts, there is no self-effort in faith.

For years, my own ministry was a ministry that disqualified people. I would tell my congregation, “There’s nothing wrong with God, nothing wrong with His Word, so there must be something wrong with you!”

But one day, I heard the Lord speaking to me on the inside. He said, “Stop disqualifying My people! My blood has already qualified them. Stop disqualifying them!”

Now, I know that faith is the opposite of the law, and that the more people become self-conscious,More more they look at their self-efforts to receive from the Lord, the more faith is depleted from them. So when the Lord opened my eyes to grace, I changed what I was preaching entirely and began to declare, “There’s nothing wrong with God, nothing wrong with His Word, and guess what? Through the blood of Jesus, there’s nothing wrong with you! Receive your miracle!”

Hallelujah! Once I stopped pointing the people to what was wrong with them and pointed instead to what was right with them because of Jesus, faith was imparted, and we began to experience an explosion of healing miracles like never before. Cancers were healed, tumors were supernaturally removed, and lives were transformed.

That is what happens when believers know that they have been made righteous by the blood of Jesus. They begin to understand that they have the blood-bought right to be healed, to experience financial breakthroughs, and to enjoy restoration in their marriages!

When people begin to see more of Jesus, when they begin to become more and more conscious of Jesus having been crucified on their behalf, faith no longer is a barrier to receiving God’s promises. Why? Because the more they see what Jesus has done for them, the more they see what Jesus has qualified them for, the more faith springs up within them and miracles break forth. Hallelujah!

Beloved, you don’t have to wish that you had more faith for whatever miracle you are asking God for right now. You don’t have to try to conjure up more faith.

Simply see Jesus on the cross for you, and the faith you need to face any situation or challenge will come into your life. Just look to Jesus and His grace toward you! He is the author and finisher of faith (Heb. 12:2). Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of Christ.

The more of Jesus and His love you hear, the more faith rises in your heart. Get hold of teachings that preach all about Jesus and His finished work. Make it your priority to listen to the good news preached

There is power in the gospel of Jesus Christ! Reach out and receive your miracle from your Savior today!

HIGH COST OF MEDICINES: FEDERAL GOVERNMENT ASSURES NIGERIANS OF DETERMINATION TO MAKE DRUGS AFFORDABLE.

05/ 05/24

PRESS RELEASE

DANIELS OG

The Director General, National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control NAFDAC, Prof. Mojisola Adeyeye has assured Nigerians that the current high cost of medicines in the country will become a thing of the past as the Agency in partnership with pharmaceutical industry working hard to bring down the cost of drugs.
Speaking in same vein the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Prof Ali Pate also assured Nigerians that the various policy measures already put in place by the President Bola Tinubu administration would soon begin to reflect positively in the cost of essential medical commodities.
The duo made the assertions at the webinar lecture organized by The Cable Newspaper to celebrate its tenth anniversary with the theme: Addressing Costs of Medicines.
Prof Adeyeye identified rejuvenation of the local pharmaceutical industry as a panacea for high cost of medicines in the country. She said locally manufactured medicinal products would be more accessible and affordable compared to the imported drugs.

According to her, the devaluation of the Naira accounted largely for high cost of production locally as the high exchange rate made procurement of raw materials and equipment imported for production extremely high, adding that due to difficulty associated with procurement of dollar, cost of the imported drugs has also hit the roof.
About the same time, she said two multinationals left which caused the cost of drugs they produce to go up.
To encourage local pharmaceutical industry to grow, Prof Adeyeye reiterated that NAFDAC under her leadership started the 5 plus 5 regulatory scheme where a company that has been importing drugs that the local pharmaceutical industry is able to produce will get a last five-year renewal. During the five-year renewal period, the importer must migrate to local manufacturing or partner with local manufacturer.

This is an outcome of a study that was done in 2019 that revealed that the top 5 drugs that are imported are also the top 5 drugs that are manufactured in Nigeria.
From that initiative, she disclosed that more than 30 per cent of new companies in Nigeria are results of 5 plus 5 because many importers started building their own companies or partnering with local manufacturers through contract manufacturing. That is access. Thats the way to make drug available, accessible, she said.

The NAFDAC boss explained that the Agency also did another policy change called NAFDAC Ceiling 34 wherein drugs under those ceiling cannot be imported. According to her, the ceiling was increased from nine to 34 drugs when she assumed office so that those 34 drugs that are manufactured locally with good installed capacity would not be allowed into the country.
Our manufacturers import everything except water, she said, adding that the raw materials – Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and the non-active called Excipients are all imported.

I told the industry operators that we need to start making some APIs locally and that has resulted in EMZOR almost completing their facilities in Shagamu. They are going to be making four anti-malaria APIs sulfadoxime, Pyrimethamine, Artemether and Lumefantrine. The Fidson consortium is also planning manufacturing some APIs. The DG said the initiative was aimed at reducing the cost of drugs eventually.
But we cannot start manufacturing locally without strengthening the regulatory because we have never regulated local manufacturing of APIs., she said. Therefore, in preparation for the manufacturing the intellectual capacity has to be strengthened; NAFDAC organized a workshop in October 2023 that attracted 150 participants – regulators, manufacturers, professors from the Universities and the future workforce -part four students.

Prof Adeyeye lamented that because of the high cost of medicines some unscrupulous people will start making substandard falsified medicines, warning that NAFDAC is not asleep. Our work is 24/7 in terms of regulation and control of SF medicines. We do unannounced inspections of local manufacturers. Since, February 16 and 17 this year we went after the Open Drugs marketers because some of the unscrupulous manufactures or importers use the open market as haven for substandard falsified medicines.
We will be using Traceability technology to monitor the supply chain. She added that NAFDAC is leading in Africa and second in the world using Track and Trace technology. GS1 Technology driven to make the supply chain visible.
She said NAFDACs efforts are all about local content which is also the thrust of President Tinubu administration. Embracing this will lead to increase in the nations GDP, our unemployment will decrease and Nigeria will be better off for it.
Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Prof Ali Pate, noted that the escalating costs of pharmaceuticals is part of the global phenomenon, expressing regrets that for past 20 years the nation have been doing catch up, stressing that the present administration is focused on solving the issue.
We are working hard to do so through the Presidential Initiative to Unlock the Pharmaceutical Value Chain that the President announced in October 2023. But two pockets of issues underlying what we are observing now. Nigerians are hurting. Theres Forex devaluation which is on the supply side. The ability to buy materials, equipment, the infrastructure deficit. Some infrastructure for manufacturing that we have is not at the level that could meet up the demand that we have, he said.
The minister noted that financing of healthcare in Nigeria, the affordability has been a long-standing issue for more than 40 years, adding that less than 10 per cent of Nigerians have health Insurance or any issuance to speak of which means the cost of our financing healthcare is out of pocket, hence when prices go up the medically related reimbursement for medical care also goes up.
He said this has thrown many Nigerians into poverty because if you have ailments like cancer or kidney failure its easy if we have a viable insurance platform. Prof. Pate disclosed that the president has asked them to find solution as government in collaboration with the private sector, adding that both must work closely hand in hand.
He further disclosed that government has continued to engage with pharmaceutical consultative forum, ably led by Prince Adeluyi, stressing that we are just finalizing an instrument from government to address the fiscal policy constraints for the raw materials and manufacturing equipment. Thats an instrument that signals the government intervention that we will do in addition to advancing medical industrialization agenda.
He also said that massive effort is underway to reform the health insurance landscape, adding that we believe that if we can expand the national health insurance scheme and have millions of Nigerians covered the ability of the system to pay for those costs of medicines, diagnostics and Medicare will not be borne by individuals and households but by a third party.
He said that the absence of a third party is the reason people are feeling the pain of the rising cost of medicines, adding that the National Health Insurance Agency NHIA and NAFDAC have been developing a medical supply chain initiative which is trying to address that.
All these point to the fact that we are not unmindful of the challenges many Nigerians are facing. Food prices, and other products that we dont manufacture at home. Its a transitionary crisis Nigeria is digging its way out of that I believe in a year or two, we will see things stabilize and inflation that has gone up will begin to stabilize and drop.
As we industrialize, the Minister said we begin to mitigate against dependency on import of critical lifesaving commodities to reduce the burden on Nigerians overtime.
There are two ways. Easy way and the hard way. We have taken the easy way-import dependence. The hard way is the easier way in the long run. We are now choosing the harder way which is to industrialize. Its tough and it must be done. The industry is with us. The government under the leadership of President Tinubu is committed to ensure that we go through this harder way because in the long run it is the easier way for all of us.

GOSPEL CORNER: GOD’S WILL FOR YOU IS PERFECT HEALING

05/04/24

Look no further than 3 John 1:2 for a prayer that reflects God’s heart. That’s how you know that He wants you healed, healthy, and never sick, as much as He wants your soul to prosper!

Don’t go by human experiences to know if God wants His people healed today. If you say, “Well, I know of Christians who are sick,” I can point you to many others whom God has healed.

We’re not called to base our believing on human experiences. We’re called to believe God’s Word.

Beloved, never put your eyes on people and their experiences, even good ones. The basis of your faith must always be God’s Word. Believe that God still heals today because His Word says so!

TODAY’S WORD

Today’s Scripture
“The Lord says, ‘Tomorrow about this time, a basket of fine flour will be sold for one piece of silver in the gate of Samaria. And two baskets of barley will be sold for a piece of silver.’”
2 Kings 7:1, NLV

SUDDENLY THINGS SHIFT
The Syrian army had surrounded the city of Samaria, cut off the Israelites’ food and water supply. Just when it looked like the people would starve to death, the prophet Elisha spoke today’s Scripture with its promise of a sudden abundance of food and supplies. One of the main leaders replied what most of the people were thinking, “Elisha, that’s impossible. Even if God opened the windows of Heaven that couldn’t happen.” But by way of a miraculous intervention, that is exactly what happened.

You may not see how your situation could ever change. How could God reverse the trouble in your marriage or your finances? It doesn’t look possible in the natural, but God is supernatural. He has ways of reversing what looks permanent that we’ve never thought of. One touch of God’s favor and suddenly things shift in your favor, in your finances, in your children, in your health, in your relationships. This is a new day. God is doing a new thing. Don’t talk yourself out of your miracle. Be a believer and not a doubter.

A PRAYER FOR TODAY
“Father, thank You that You are the God who can do the impossible and who loves to surprise us. Thank You that one touch of Your favor can turn around what looks like it will never change. I believe that this is a new day and You are going to do more than I can imagine. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

SECTION TWO
Whatever team sports you follow, you know that defense is vital. A good defensive strategy keeps you in contention, but defense alone doesn’t win championships.

The prayer of protection in Psalm 91 has many defensive elements. We’ve talked about dwelling in the secret place of the Most High, abiding under the shadow of the Almighty, and taking the Lord as our refuge and fortress. We’ve seen how we are covered under His wings and protected by an angelic army. Now that we’ve got our defensive game covered, are you ready to play some offense?

Certainly, there are times and seasons when the best thing to do is to take cover and to allow ourselves to be sheltered. The Lord is our safe house, our hiding place, and our impenetrable fortress, and I love that we get to take refuge in Him.

But the prayer of protection also declares this in verse 13 (boldface mine): “You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra, the young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.”

That’s taking an offensive position. That’s going on the attack. That’s taking authority!

In the Gospel of Luke, we see our Lord Jesus sending seventy disciples out against the kingdom of darkness, as “lambs among wolves” (Luke 10:3). Have you ever seen a lamb overpower a wolf? Of course not.

You see, this authority that we are talking about is not natural authority. Like the lamb, you and I have no power in and of ourselves. This is a supernatural authority that comes from our Lord Jesus Christ, just as the strength that enabled Samson to tear apart the young lion was a supernatural strength.

The portrayals of Samson I have seen depict a massive and muscular man. I think he could have been small and scrawny, but endued with supernatural power and might from God.

Naturally speaking, for Samson to take on the lion with his bare hands was like a lamb taking on a ferocious wolf. But we know that He who is in us is greater than any predator that is in the world. Amen!

My friend, in Christ, you are far stronger than you think you are. You may not look it or feel it, but God always uses the weak things of this world to confound the wise and mighty (1 Cor. 1:27).

Remember, the race is not always to the swift, nor the battle to the strong. It is the Lord who ultimately determines who shall emerge victorious. And since the Lord is for you, who can be against you (Rom. 8:31)!

GOSPEL CORNER: GOD IS SAYING, “GET RID OF YOUR CUP. HAVE A NEW MIND-SET. START BELIEVING BIGGER. THE BLESSINGS I HAVE FOR YOU CANNOT BE CONTAINED IN A CUP.”

03/05/24

JOEL OSTEEN MINISTRIES
TODAY’S WORD

Today’s Scripture
Then Peter said, “Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.”
Acts 3:6, NIV

PUT THE CUP DOWN
In Acts 3, a man who had been crippled since birth was begging for money every day at the temple gate. Occasionally someone would place a few coins into his outstretched cup. He was stuck in a negative mind-set because of his circumstances, not expecting anything to change, until Peter stopped and spoke today’s Scripture to him. Peter was saying, “Put down your Cup because what God is about to do will not fit in that cup.” No one had ever spoken faith over him, telling him that he could walk. Then Peter pulled him up, and instantly he was healed.

Notice that this man had to put down his cup before he could receive his miracle. His mind-set was hoping for a few coins, but God had healing for his legs that meant he’d never have to use that cup again. Do you see how God wants to show you His immeasurable favor? God is saying, “Get rid of your cup. Have a new mind-set. Start believing bigger. The blessings I have for you cannot be contained in a cup.”

A PRAYER FOR TODAY
“Father, thank You that even when I’m stuck in a negative mind-set because of my circumstances, You still have an amazing plan for my life. Help me to put my cup down and expect the immeasurable favor You have for me. I believe that You are doing exceedingly abundantly above all that I ask or think. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

SECTION TWO

The devil is known as “the accuser of our brethren” (Rev. 12:10). He will always try to keep you self-occupied and in fear. God wants you Christ-occupied and in faith!

You might have a friend of the same age who perhaps died suddenly from an illness even though he or she had seemed healthier than you. The devil will try to plant fears in your heart that you are next.

By now, you know what to do. Take up your shield of faith and declare, “It is written—’A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near you.'” Whatever “it” may be—cancer, disease, accidents, terrorist attacks—it shall not come near you! When you board a plane, that plane has no choice but to land safely because YOU are on board, amen!

Beloved, the Lord Jesus sacrificed His life on the cross so that you can stand upon His promises and claim them for your life. They are all fully paid for by the blood of Jesus, and the Father will see to it that you enjoy them!

If you do not know what promises to claim, can I encourage you to start with the many promises listed in Psalm 91? Memorize Psalm 91 and when you are under attack, quote it the way our Lord Jesus quoted Scripture. Meditate on Psalm 91 and allow yourself to be fortified by this prayer of protection.

There is such a power and authority that comes with quoting the pure and unadulterated written Word of God, and I invite you to start walking in that power and authority today!

GOSPEL CORNER: HE MAY NOT TURN IT AROUND INSTANTLY, BUT REST IN FAITH KNOWING THAT HE’S GOING TO CARRY YOU THROUGH. YOU’RE COMING OUT BETTER THAN YOU WERE BEFORE.

TODAY’S WORD

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
“You saw how I snatched you from the bonds of slavery and carried you on eagles’ wings and brought you to Myself.”
Exodus 19:4, VOICE

*EAGLES’ WINGS*
You may have some things that are oppressing you today, some things that are unfair, some things you don’t understand, but stay encouraged. Eagles’ wings are coming, which means you are going to soar higher than you ever imagined. The God who made you is going to carry you out of the depression, out of the heartache, out of the loneliness, out of poverty, lack, and not having enough. That is not how your story ends. You’re not going to just make it through the loss, through the breakup, or through the trouble. No, He’s about to carry you into abundance, carry you into freedom, carry you into joy, peace, favor, breakthroughs. It may look as though you are stuck, but you’re about to feel some eagles’ wings lifting you, restoring you, pushing back the darkness, opening doors, and promoting you, taking you where you can’t go on your own. He may not turn it around instantly, but rest in faith knowing that He’s going to carry you through. You’re coming out better than you were before.

A PRAYER FOR TODAY
“Father, thank You that You never leave me on my own in life’s battles. Thank You that You carry me on eagles’ wings and lift me to be with You. Thank You that You carry me over, out of, and through what tries to hold me back. I believe that You are taking me higher than I have ever imagined. In Jesus’ Name, Amen

He Paid the Debt

SECTION TWO

Did you know that when Jesus walked on earth, more than two-thirds of His ministry involved healing the sick? He went about healing the sick and all who came to Him were healed. The Bible records that “the whole multitude sought to touch Him, for power went out from Him and healed them all.”

I wish that somebody in Hollywood would produce that scene in Luke 6:19. You see the sick, lame, and blind coming to Jesus. And every time one of them touches Him, BAM!

His healing virtue is powerfully released and the person is healed and overjoyed! That’s a powerful image to have in your mind whenever you are believing God for healing!

TODAY’S WORD

Today’s Scripture
“Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father.”
John 14:12, ESV

GREATER WORKS
When Jesus was on the Earth, He did so many amazing things, and He said we would also do these and even greater works. That requires a great faith. You may think you don’t have that much faith, but it’s in you. You just have to make the decision to believe—not in what you can do, but in what our God can do through you. On your own, you may be limited. You don’t have the qualifications, the resources, or the influence. That’s okay. You’re not on your own. You and God are a majority. When He breathes on your life, you’ll go places you’ve never dreamed. You’ll discover talent that you hadn’t known you had. Doors will open that you couldn’t open. The right people will show up. If you do your part and have great faith, God will do His part and show out in your life. Take the limits off God and start believing for the greater works He has for you to do. You haven’t seen, heard, or imagined what God has in store for you.

A PRAYER FOR TODAY
“Father, thank You for the greater works that You have planned to do through me. Thank You that You created me to release my faith and believe that I can make a difference in the world. I declare that I refuse to let fear and unbelief hold me back. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

SECTION TWO

I love today’s Scripture. The answer, my friend, is found not in the law, but in the Son.

The law was given by a servant, Moses; grace came through the Son, Jesus. The grace revolution begins with a person and His name is Jesus.

When you have Jesus as your Lord and Savior, and a revelation of His grace, you have everything. You have, most importantly, a new and righteous identity in Christ.

Many believers don’t realize this but revelations can be stolen and forgotten. That’s what happened to the Corinthian church and Paul had to step in to remind them of their righteous identity in Christ.

This is also why it is so essential for you to be part of a local church where you can keep on hearing and hearing messages that are full of the person of Jesus, and be surrounded by Christ-centered leaders and friends who will always point you back to the Lord and your righteous identity in Christ.

I want to encourage you to have a daily consciousness of your righteousness in Christ by speaking and confessing your righteousness out loud. I believe that you know you are righteous in Christ, and that righteousness is a gift you cannot earn. While knowing this is fantastic, I want you to take a step further with me today and begin to practice confessing your righteousness in Christ daily.

My dear friend, when you are stressed out and a thousand things are screaming for your attention, say quietly under your breath, “I am the righteousness of God in Christ.” When you read some horrible news in the morning papers and your heart is gripped with fear for your loved ones, just say quietly under your breath, “I am the righteousness of God in Christ.” And when you are feeling a temptation to indulge again in a past addiction, now you know what to do: say quietly under your breath, “I am the righteousness of God in Christ.”

Live Every Day As If It’s the Last

Your remaining in victory is directly related to how conscious you are of your righteous identity in Christ. If you truly desire to see lasting breakthroughs in your life and live above defeat, speak!

Speak out, speak up, and speak without doubt. And I promise you that you will live more stress free, more fearlessly, more boldly, and more victoriously than ever before!

Adekunle Olayinka, and the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Olusegun Ogboye, expressed satisfaction at the progress of various medical infrastructure initiatives. These projects include the 150-bed Massey Street Specialist Children’s Hospital, the Multi-Level Car Park, Somolu General Hospital, LASUTH Resident Quarters, and Ojo General Hospital. They emphasized that these developments mark a significant milestone in the state’s healthcare advancement agenda.

Commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi, highlighted the transformative impact of the Massey Street Specialist Children’s Hospital, stating that it will redefine pediatric care not only in Lagos but also in Nigeria and Africa as a whole. With its sustainable engineering principles and exclusive focus on pediatric care, the hospital, boasting 150 beds and a multi-level car park accommodating over 300 vehicles, is poised to become a beacon of excellence in pediatric healthcare.

“With sustainable engineering principles integrated into its design, the hospital boasts a capacity of 150 beds and a multi-level car park accommodating over 300 vehicles. Positioned as a referral centre for complex pediatric cases, the hospital is set to become a beacon of excellence in pediatric healthcare within Nigeria.” He said.

Prof. Abayomi also emphasized the importance of revamping Somolu General Hospital to meet the growing population’s healthcare needs. The expansion plans, including a 120-bed facility with specialized services and accommodation for medical personnel, reflect the government’s commitment to providing accessible and quality healthcare services to all residents.

In his words: “Recognizing the increasing demand for healthcare services, particularly in densely populated areas, the Lagos State Government is revitalizing Somolu General Hospital. This initiative underscores the government’s commitment to providing accessible and quality healthcare services to all residents.”

Regarding the LASUTH Resident Doctors’ Quarters, the Commissioner highlighted its role in enhancing medical personnel welfare and addressing accommodation challenges faced by resident doctors. The 10-story building will provide comfortable living spaces for doctors undergoing specialized training, contributing to the retention of skilled healthcare professionals.

“In a bid to address the accommodation challenges faced by medical personnel, especially resident doctors, the government is constructing residential quarters adjacent to the House Officers quarters in the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH). The 10-story building will provide comfortable living spaces for doctors undergoing specialized training, thereby enhancing their welfare and contributing to the retention of skilled healthcare professionals.” He said.

Furthermore, Prof. Abayomi underscored the significance of Ojo General Hospital, which, despite facing technical challenges, is progressing steadily to become a cornerstone in healthcare delivery for surrounding communities. Upon completion, the hospital’s 288-bed capacity and extensive staff accommodation will ensure comprehensive healthcare services for residents in the region.
