The Association of Lions Clubs International, District 404 B2 Nigeria through Ilorin Metropolitan Lions Club has planted trees at Diamond FM and Diamond pack Ilorin to sensitize the populace about environmental friendliness and hazard of abusing the environment especially during rainy season.
The President, Lion Mary Lewu reeled out her club’s plans to touch lives differently by ensuring that the basic core cause of Association projects are fully implemented.
Lions Clubs has over the Years impacted lives in through Paediatric Cancer Care, Diabetics Care, Eye Care. Feeding the Hungry and Protection of the Environment.
The tree planting is the first of the Club’s project for this Lions’s year which started July 1st 2021 to June 30th 2022.
In attendance were Lion Abifarin Ezekiel Maxwell founder of Eko Unique Lions and Lion Ayantola Fawaz of Ilorin Central Lions Club.
